Summerlee erwartet Sie (5 Schlafzimmer, 5 Bäder insgesamt). Dieses klassische Strandhaus wurde komplett renoviert und luxuriös ausgestattet. Das Haus verfügt über einen offenen Grundriss für einfache Unterhaltung. Direkt am Chesapeake gelegen, hören Sie die Wellen beim Kochen, Lesen oder Entspannen. Von der abgeschirmten Veranda, dem umlaufenden Deck oder dem großen Deck des Hauptschlafzimmers aus können Sie verschiedene Wildtiere beobachten, darunter Reiher, Schwäne, Fischadler, Weißkopfseeadler und Pelikane. Oder schnappen Sie sich einen Strandkorb oder ein Handtuch und fahren Sie zum privaten Sandstrand. Der offene Grundriss mit einer großen Küche, einem Esszimmer, 2 Wohnzimmern und einem TV-Raum ermöglicht es einer großen Familie oder einer Gruppe, zusammen zu kochen, Spiele zu spielen, fernzusehen oder einfach nur zu entspannen. Wonderful week

My family and I had a wonderful week at the vacation house. Mindy was super responsive and the house was exactly what we were looking for. We had a couple of rainy days but enjoyed playing games at the table overlooking the Bay. We kayaked to the pier and back (whew, what a workout) and we will be back again!

We spent a lovely weekend at Summerlee while attending Hawktoberfest at SMCM. Such a relaxing spot to come back with friends after a busy day. You can not beat the view that greats you when you wake up either.

Beach getaway

Location was great. House is roomy with a bathroom for each bedroom. Loved the three distinct sitting areas on the main floor. Loved all the sliding doors opening to decks, etc. Kitchen could use some updating and more supplies. Saw no plastic wrap, aluminum foil. And comfort height toilets in every bathroom would be a plus!

Summerlee @ Scotland Beach

Our family had a wonderful time at Summerlee. During the day we kayaked & played at the beach, in the evenings we played games, read & watched movies. It was very nice for all of our varied ages; baby to senior. The house itself is very well furnished and the big kitchen was a pleasure.

Perfect beach house for making lasting memories :-)

I highly recommend this home. You are steps away from the water on your own private beach. We stayed here during spring break and although the water was too cold for a swim, you can still dip your feet, and relax on a beach chair while soaking up the rays and listening to the gentle crashing of waves. There is a family of ospreys living nearby and it was fun to watch them as they went about their business fixing up their home. The house itself was clean, has many rooms, and the common areas were spacious. The interior decor was also nice. There aren't any grocery stores nearby however the Dollar General just up the road carries many things including fruits, vegetables as well as milk, and eggs. The house has Wi-Fi but we barely used it as we spent most of our time on the beach. The house also has grills and we did a lot of our cooking outside. Thank you again for the pleasant stay and we hope to book again in the future!

A lovely get-a-away

This was a beautiful location and a beautiful space to be with family and friends. Loved the walks along the water, the bike rides, and being able to forget the worries of life to watch the birds and the water. Elizabeth could not have been more helpful, generous, and kind. We felt very cared for. Best of all, it was a place to take my 8-month-old puppy, who learned to swim. Not often do you find such a beautiful place that welcomes your beloved family pet. Family getaway

We had a nice family getaway for a 4 day long weekend! The property was great for us with plenty of rooms and seating space for us to convene for meals, games, books reading etc…The weather was cold, but we did enjoy walking on the beach with our puppy and listening to the waves while sitting in the screened porch. The approach to the house is not the best with bumpy roads and a lot of construction in progress. But it should look great when done. Overall good experience. Thank you.

Very Attentive Property Managers

This is a beautiful, homey, comfortable beach property. When a repair was needed, that was no fault of the property owners, they were amazingly helpful and accommodating. And it was 2 days before Thanksgiving! Any vacation can be wonderful when things go smoothly, but this group helped us have a beautiful family vacation when things were not perfect. We will return!!

Great location

The location and house was great. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Nice large lounge, family and kitchen. Outdoor screened room is great when weather permits. The kayaks that comes with the house was great the keep the kids occupied. This would be a great house during summer.

magical!

My family gathered for two nights at the Summerlee house to celebrate our mother's 90th birthday and the setting exceeded our expectations! We spent much of our time together on the screened in porch marveling at the view of the ever-changing water and sky (it almost felt as if you were floating on the water!), enjoying the Bay breezes and soft air, and watching the butterflies, gulls, herons, cormorants and eagles fly by. We kayaked, swam, took the bikes for an outing, and cooked together in the large and well-stocked kitchen. The bedrooms - each with their own bathrooms were comfortable and private, and the open living/dining/kitchen plan was wonderful. AND - we loved the outdoor shower! Gathering with each other in such a beautiful setting was a delight - we hope to be back soon.

Beautiful views at this relaxing location

Lots of spots to sit & read or take in the views. The wrap-around deck was wonderful. It’s a wooded location so be prepared to sweep off a spot (brooms provided) & wipe down some seats (bring a few rags & some cleaning supplies for the outside furniture). The inside was nice & clean & well-appointed. It was pouring rain when we arrived so I was happy to find some old towels in the car that we used as door mats inside so we wouldn’t track mud inside. We spent our week relaxing on the beach, reading in the screened in porch or on the deck, kayaking & crabbing. It was nice to be forced to slow down & take it all in without running from one attraction to the next!

Family time at the Bay

We have been coming to the Scotland Md properties for years, but this was the first time with our granddaughter as a toddler. Summerlee was perfect for us. The lower level was quiet for toddler naps and bedtime while the adults enjoyed the main level. We were able to section off a sitting room as a play area. The beach is steps away. The views are amazing and we love the porch. It was the perfect family get away. Another note: our greyhound needed medical attention and Breton Vet took our dog on short notice and gave wonderful care.
