„The place was a perfect place to stay for a visit to Acadia. Within walking distance to the carriage roads and a very short drive to the entrance to the park. House was in a nice quiet location and the accommodations were everything we needed it to be. The owner was very friendly and helpful in making suggestions on hikes, food, and other adventures.“

„Just a nice place to stay, no real issues other than the thermostats were difficult to figure out, the kitchen roof leaks a little water when you shower upstairs, and the fridge shakes the house when the compressor turns off. Home owner was kind enough to mail me my souvenirs I souvenirs left, and everything was neat and tidy.“

„We really enjoyed staying here with our family on a trip to see Mount Desert Island (MDI) and Acadia. This was our kids first time being to MDI and having this house was perfect. The yard was great so they could run around and play on the swing set. Also, the kitchen was very well equipped so we were able to make multiple meals (you bring your own groceries) without having to go out. This makes it much more pleasant when traveling with kids. „This was a last minute trip to spend our Thanksgiving in Maine. We have relatives that live there year-round. The property was very secluded and peaceful. „Perfect location close to shops, restaurants and the national park. Very clean and easy to access. Located above an amazing restaurant (colonel’s) which we frequented after long days of hiking/ exploring the park. On-site laundry was an added bonus. The kids loved the fresh pastries and the adults loved the coffee from colonel’s before long days at the NP. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Thanks! “

„The cottage was nice for what we needed which was a place to shower and sleep. It was a little further from Acadia National Park (about 45 minute drive one-way). Allen was very kind and welcoming. The grounds were in need of some care and we are pretty sure there was a mouse in the cottage.“

"Großartige Unterkunft! Alles perfekt, besser geht’s nicht. Neu renoviert! Riesiges Zimmer! Sonderaktionen wie zum Beispiel „Smores machen“ für Kinder. Tolles, geheiztes Schwimmbad, Handtücher am Pool. Wenn schlechtes Wetter darf Indoor-Pool des Nachbarhotels mitbenutzt werden. Wir würden es sofort wieder buchen."
