Seguin Oasis

The house was great, clean and well maintained. The Guadalupe River was in the backyard. However we didn’t get in because the ladder to climb down was questionable and there were snakes in the river. There are a million steps so it was tricky. The backyard is not fenced in The deck in the back was wonderful and quiet. Plenty of beds but the largest bed was a double or twin. No king or queen size beds. A/C, well stocked kitchen supplies, and table for playing board games.

Great location

TERRIFIC Weekend Getaway

The house came furnished with all must-haves, was incredibly clean, and perfectly located for us to enjoy the area, make quick runs (or have items delivered) for essentials at local shops, & enjoy the outdoors, deck, & river.

Seguin House

House was ok, strange layout with no bathrooms for the bedroom on the lower deck. Coffee pot was broke so we could make coffee when we woke up the first morning and the water in the shower by the bunk bedroom did not work. The back yard would have been nice to hang out in however the grass was over a foot high so wasn’t enjoyable. Back deck was nice to enjoy mornings/evenings. There is zero access to the river other than an old aluminum house ladder shoved in the mud of the river leaning up against the concrete dock area. Not safe at all for entry or exit from the river

Wonderful Fishing and Grand Place to Sleep

Had a wonderful experience at this VRBO.I highly recommend it for families. Being on the water and being close to other event spots was nice. Schlitterbahn and Sea World were on the agenda...Loved Schlittebahn -- Sea World not so much...strollers with babies too young to know how to spell SEA should not be allowed on the very hot event.

Rest and relax at the Riverfront Retreat

The home is located on the quieter section of the Guadalupe River in Seguin. The home was clean and stocked. The view of the river from any floor you look out is amazing. The sloped backyard and trees create a cool breezy atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.

Home away from home.

Had a great time spending Christmas with my family here. House was plenty big for whole family and had everything we needed. Only drawback we found was the master suite bed was way too small. Should have at least a queen size. All others were suitable.

Cozy and relaxing stay

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. The weather was horrible, but this cozy home was beautiful and relaxing! New Braunfels is close by and we recommend the area… wineries, shopping, great restaurants, etc.

Disappointing

The house itself was much like advertised, but the access to the river was a hazardous mess consisting of an aluminum ladder propped against the bank of the river and secured to a tree with a piece of twine. The oven did not work, and the local agent failed to return multiple calls about this issue. I had to contact Vacasa's corporate office to get a very inadequate response explaining that the oven was a known problem. There was no broom or mop to clean up the floors when items spilled. No decent knives in the kitchen, and not enough glassware for 10 guests as advertised. The house was clean but the yard was strewn with litter. Very disappointing for this price.

Great Vacation

Overall, we had a wonderful time during our stay! The house is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. There were kayaks and tubes to use in the water. The water was perfect for swimming and fishing. The movie room was a huge hit with the kids and adults. The beds were comfortable and it was nice having a washer and dryer available to keep the towels clean throughout the week. There are a lot of stairs which was fine for us, but could be a problem for others. The only complaints that we have are that the oven did not work, there are no outside lights under the house for night time grilling/hanging out, and water access could be better if there was some sort of dock or built in ladder. Even with these minor issues, we had the best time and would love to visit again.

Great Family getaway!

Property is just as good as the pictures! Lots of space for big groups, the movie room was a great addition, and the area was great for swimming with the provided floats and kayaks! We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Good stay

Clean property, great location, easy check-in process. Price is a little steep but worth it for a vacation stay in my opinion. Amenities were available as advertised. Listing was accurate regarding everything that was included.

Peaceful right on the water!

Loved the location of this house right on the water!! The house itself is stylish, clean and spacious. But it really shines in the below patio space, fire pit and access right on the water! We loved the kayaks (though we wish there was an let in space at the house - luckily the neighbors let us use their deck to put the kayaks in the water). We saw in reviews there were no lights on the patio so we brought some Christmas lights to string up and an extension cord and it worked great! Overall, an excellent experience and the host was quick to reply! Would definitely come back!

Friendsgiving

We enjoyed this property, as we were looking for a central location for our Friendsgiving and intended to stay at the house the majority of the time. The living room is spacious and inviting, and is open to the dining area and kitchen which was nice for visiting with each other. The kitchen table seats six with the bench seat, so there is plenty of room for eating at the house. It was also great for board and card games. The dining room overlooks the river with a huge window, and we often saw kayakers and fishermen through the day. The kitchen is large with lots of counter space for food prep. There are plenty of dishes, silverware and glasses. There is a regular drip coffee pot, no Keurig. There are adequate utensils but not much else for cooking. There are a few pots and mixing bowls, and two cookie sheets. There is an HEB in town and we got quick meals that required minimal prep. The kitchen tools and pans etc were enough for the meals we made - pizzas and salads, pancakes and eggs, sandwiches, alfredo and veggies. I only bring it up just so you are aware that you may need to bring things if you need a specific tool or pan for that you want to cook. Same for our Friendsgiving meal - lots of steam bags and microwaved stuff, but it all worked out! There are four bedrooms, all nice sized. The beds are comfortable enough. The rooms have cool lighted ceiling fixtures with super loud fans in them, so if you're someone who sleeps with a box fan for the noise, you won't need one, lol. The bathrooms were clean, I just wish there were a few more washcloths as we had five adults for a long weekend. The movie room is nice, but we had issues with the sound. Not sure what the issue was, we were watching Netflix and couldn't get it to feed into any speakers except the ones from the projector. Not a big deal and it was probably user error. The yard was clean and maintained, there is ample parking. Never heard the neighbors, nice quiet neighborhood. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for hosting us!

Beautiful Home

Everything was as advertised on this beautiful home on the Guadalupe. The only issue was the projector in the media room. There seems to be an issue as it wouldn't get past the startup screen and would shut off making the media room unable to be utilized. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the scenery in the morning was absolutely beautiful.

Family vacation

Inside the house was perfect! Outside needs a few things like lights under the house and lights on the wharf. When it gets dark outside you have to go in. A latter into the river would be better and safer then using a extension ladder to get in.
