Daniels in the Smokies

Our stay was nothing short of amazing. The home exceeded our expectations and accommodated our group of 20 comfortably. The host response was always prompt and timely. The kids enjoyed the pool, while the adults enjoyed the hot tub. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the mountains each morning was a highlight. The home is exactly as described and pictured. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Cabin in the Smoky Mountains!

This place was amazing! Everyone in the family loved it! From the amazing views, indoor pool, hot tub, abundance of parking, big kitchen, movie theater, billiards room...I could go on and on! This place was fantastic, and the hosts were very nice, communicable, and quick to respond. Thank you for an amazing Christmas 2024!

Beautiful Cabin

We had a wonderful weekend. The cabin is absolutely beautiful with amenities galore. Tara was so responsive to all of my questions. If we do another mountain getaway, we will definitely stay at this cabin.

Nice place

It was a nice place to stay with lots of amenities. The family enjoyed the theatre room. It rained one day and the winding road to the house became a bit of an adventure. But it is the mountains so winding and steep inclines is the price you pay. The pool was a little chilly.

Fantastic Cabin for Making Lastimg Family Memories

We just spent a week at this fantastic cabin. Our family members ranged in age from 12 - 69 and everyone loved the cabin! Every evening you could find someone enjoying the pool/hot tub, a pool tournament taking place, movie viewing in the media room, a game of chicken foot in the dining area, or someone on the deck just enjoying reading or taking in the beautiful scenery. We ate most of our meals in and it was nice having 2 microwaves and 2 air fryers. We loved having enough room that we could all dine together. We also had several bear sightings which was also a treat! The owners did a fantastic job putting together information on the cabin and things to do in the area. We had one slight issue come up and their response was immediate. I can’t begin to recommend this cabin highly enough!!

Large Family Trip

We had a great stay at this cabin! There were 19 of us total, including a handful of children 6 and under. There were a few issues upon arrival that our host promptly addressed after informing them. The space itself provided us the relaxing space we were hoping for. We used the pool, hot tub, and movie theater a lot!

Beautiful views, well furnished, and thoroughly equiped. We loved every room, the hot tub, pool, and theater. Every amenity was fully enjoyed. This place truly lived up to its name. We would stay again.

Father birthday celebration

We had issues with the AC unit and refrigerator and asked our host to have maintenance come check it out the next day. No one ever showed up and we ended up fixing the AC and Refrigerator on our own. The ice maker never worked. The cabin was very nice and well stocked with amenities. The view wasn’t quite as good as we were hoping from the pics on line. Overall, It was a great trip to celebrate with our family!

Family celebration

Cabin is wonderful for large group! Beautiful decor and clean and spacious! The basement and theater room was a hit for all the kids and adults! We were not expecting to be in a community of cabins and expected better views. Felt like this portion was not advertised as such. Also had trouble keeping the main floor cool but upper and lower levels were good.

Best cabin I have stayed in

Overall, AMAZING cabin! We walked in and the cabin was super clean and spotless. Absolutely beautiful too. The host had a s’mores cart set up for us too!! The pool was warm and so fun to swim in. We enjoyed the hot tub too!! Perfect cabin for a large group. The host was also super nice and responsive to my messages ! I would definitely book here again!

Perfect home for families and large groups

We had a group of 17 ranging from 1 year old to 69 years old. This home was accommodating for all! We had plenty of room and activities to entertain all ages. The host is very responsive. It was a perfect vacation for the family.

A Slice of Heaven

I have booked no fewer than 15 properties across the globe via VRBO/HomeAway and this might very well be the best one. The cabin is beautiful, large, and well-appointed. Tara made sure we had everything we needed and that she was accessible if needed. All bedrooms are nice, large, and comfortable. You couldn't ask for better group accommodations in the kitchen, gathering, game room, theater, or pool areas. Appliances are top notch, all home utility systems are stellar. My crew wants to go back - just to be in this cabin again. Thank you Tara!

Wonderful facility. Would recommend it Door to patio from living room would not unlock - was broken Wasps were present in main area Door to bathroom in one bedroom did not have a door knob Hot tub was not working due to a heating element needing replaced None of these concerns were difficult to deal with. The hot tub was repaired in swift time so we could enjoy it. A very pleasant facility. Very comfortable cottage. Entire family expressed appreciation for a wonderful place to stay.

family fun getaway!

We loved the home the decorations and welcoming feel. The pool was a hit so was game room and theatre room. Gaming on such a large screen was fantastic. Whirl pool was full and hot! Great vacation! Watching Top Gun in theatre room was amazing.

Good cabin, but has issues

My family stayed at this spacious cabin for a pre-Thanksgiving gathering of 14. Despite positive aspects, we faced significant maintenance issues that impacted our overall experience. Several bedroom and bathroom doors didn't lock or close properly, compromising privacy. In one bathroom, a ripped shower curtain hung on the rod, and only half of the beds were properly made-- the comforters were pulled over the beds with folded sheets underneath. The game cabinet was a chaotic mess, with none of the games playable due to missing pieces and all the games being mixed together. The most alarming issue was a mouse sighting on our first night. Though we managed to remove it, the incident left a lasting negative impression. Basic amenities were lacking, with no shampoo, conditioner, or soap in the showers and minimal toilet paper for the 8-bathroom house. The promised cooking supplies fell short, with only one skillet. To be fair, things like there being only two rolls of toilet paper were mentioned in the pre-arrival information, but it was an inconvenience we did not appreciate on vacation. Despite reporting issues to the property manager as they happened, we thought a gesture of goodwill, such as a discount, would be appropriate, but none was offered. The manager did send a cleaning supervisor to apologize, which was nice. The house has potential, but numerous issues and the unwelcome guest made our stay less enjoyable than anticipated.

Friendsgiving Weekend

We had a great time celebrating Friendsgiving with 20 of our friends! The cabin was stunning, had several amenity options, and was definitely large enough to fit our needs! Absolutely loved the guide/details manual sent prior to your stay - it is so helpful! There were a few things that caused disruptions such as difficulty with the oven remaining at and reaching set temperature, the pool lights and pool heating effects not working (someone came to fix this on the last night of our stay), overflowing trash outside, and missing s’more items. Tara was awesome at communication though and answered our concerns and questions in a timely manner, so that was great! There were some cobwebs, too, in the windows that could probably use some cleaning, but all in all we enjoyed our time and would return!! It is a gorgeous property!
