„Great location! My mom and I absolutely loved the General’s Hideaway for our trip to Gettysburg. We even loved the pool table and played a few games. We brought my Mom’s service dog with us and the hosts made sure to include a bed and supplies for him if needed, which was very sweet of them. „This a beautiful modernized Civil War house that just seems to keep going. Tons of room and the place is very well-kept and welcoming. The backyard is spacious with comfortable accommodations (plus parking) and you're right downtown in walk-around Gettysburg. Perfect for a weekend stay, or longer.“

„This place was dirty to say the least. There was dirt, dead bugs, and smell of moth balls throughout the entire house. The shower actually had ?mud smeared on the wall when we got there. I didn't complain and figured I would just message them after the stay, which I did. They never returned a message, so I assume they just don't care about the cleanliness or smell. “
