The Space:
Thank you for considering our wonderful pool home - the Tranquil Turquise Retreat. Nestled on the bayside of the Island about 10 blocks to the entertainment district offering you location with peace. You'll be right at home at 206 W Huisache perfect for splitting between 2 families. Composed of high ceilings, tasteful & updated furnishings, and modern appliances - every inch of this space has been curated for families to spread out. Renovated home has a family room, living room, and multiple dining areas, there is more than enough space for you to spread out.
The first floor of the home has a kitchenette (with small beverage fridge) right off the pool & backyard. On the second floor, the open living room features a large smart TV and an oversized sofa. Steps from here, the well-equipped kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, tile counters, and ample meal prep space, making cooking delicious home cooked meals easy. There is even a separate wet bar area off living room with conversational seating, perfect for evening cocktails or head to one of 3 outdoor patios to take in the weekend fireworks.
When it's time to eat, dine together around the breakfast bar or at one of the dining tables.
A true focal point of the property is the enclosed yard to meet your expectations of privacy AND fun. It is lined by palms and showcasing a turquoise pool .
Afternoon swims after a long day at the beach to tire out the kiddos is all right here, plus ample outdoor seating for cookouts prepared over the BBQ gas grill (please bring LP gas if you plan on using as we do not provide). When you aren't swimming, enjoy sitting on the balconies available off each level, or on the sun-soaked lanai off the living room.
Back inside, get fully comfortable in the private bedrooms, each featuring a king sized bed - and central air-conditioning. Additional interior amenities include a private washer/dryer and internet access with WIFi. There is one pull out couch to a full size, plus 2 queen sized airbeds provided for additional sleeping (note: bring extra bedding if you plan on using pull out or airbeds). We also so have 2 single sized rollaway beds. Please understand however, despite us allowing 12 people it is not really comfortable for that unless you are bringing small children.
We do allow a max of 12 guests, and an infant is counted as a guest. You cannot go over max occupancy or we must evict with no refunds. This is not a party property :) It is for family enjoyment and is a luxury property.
Please note, access to the garage is not provided, and a max of (1) dog is allowed though it does carry some rules - contact us for details.
Within quick driving distance of your stay, visit the South Padre Island Birding and Nature Center, Andy Bowie County Park, Beach Park at Isla Blanca, and the South Padre Island Golf Club. The island also boasts a variety of delicious dining options and local shops.
While this home has free WiFi if you have some work to get done, the internet is less than perfect on the Island sometimes.
Please inquire about off season discounts Sept 15 to Dec 15 for stay over 4 nights. We do have active military as well as football coach discounts - just ask before you book please not after :)
Property is professionally managed by local South Padre Island Trips at 2600 Padre Blvd. We do offer free linen exchange for stays over 3 nights.
You must read & agree to ALL house rules prior to booking - failing to do so is not a reason for a cancellation nor refund request so please review :) The max occupancy is 12 people and babies & infants are considered in this head count. A max of 2 vehicles are allowed - a golf cart is considered a vehicle & if you park on side of road you will get towed.
We provide an electronic code to enter the property prior to 3 pm day of check in to the number on file, not before. Check out is 11 am
You must have completed the rental agreement and attached a photo of your picture ID, read the house rules.
We will not provide door code for entry without these being done nor will we offer a refund for this just to clarify.
We provide all bed sheets, blankets, bath towels, face towels, hand towels, basic soaps & shampoos and a starter pack of dishwasher pods, trash bags, coffee, filters, creamer, and sweetener. These supplies are a starter pack and not unlimited nor re supplied. We do not provide laundry detergent or LP gas for the gas grill - please bring if you would like to use.
Door codes are provided by 3 pm via text message for check in, FYI

Dog fee is $75 MAX 1 dog. Please put in house rules: Dog is not allowed in pool, on furniture, nor left alone to bark. All pet droppings must but removed or a $250 fee will be billed to card on file. Parties are not/never allowed, max is 4 vehicles and a golf cart is considered in this count. Max is 12 people INCLUDING infants or babies. We do not provide LP gas for the BBQ grill. Please bring.

Guest Access:
Guests have full and private access to this three level home designed for comfort and relaxation. You will enjoy exclusive use of the entire house including three spacious bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, an open concept living room, and multiple dining areas. Outside, you have private access to the fenced backyard featuring a turquoise saltwater pool and a gas grill for outdoor dining. Each level of the home includes private balconies or a sun soaked lanai for your enjoyment. Please note that the garage is restricted and not available for guest use during your stay.
The Neighborhood:
Located on the bayside of South Padre Island, our home offers the perfect balance of peaceful relaxation and convenient access to the best the island has to offer. You are just a short walk of about one and a half blocks from the sandy shores of the beach, making it easy to enjoy sun and surf whenever you like. While our neighborhood provides a quiet escape, you are only about ten blocks away from the vibrant entertainment district where you can explore a variety of local dining options and charming shops. For those looking to explore further, popular attractions such as the South Padre Island Birding and Nature Center, the scenic Andy Bowie County Park, and the family friendly Beach Park at Isla Blanca are all within a quick and easy driving distance. Whether you are planning a day on the golf course at the South Padre Island Golf Club or simply looking for a relaxing stroll to the water, our location puts you exactly where you need to be for a memorable island getaway.
Getting Around:
Getting around South Padre Island is easy and convenient from our location. We provide parking for up to two vehicles on the property, and please note that a golf cart is considered a vehicle for this limit. If you have additional vehicles, free public parking is available at the Intermodal bus station, the local post office, or along Gulf Boulevard. While many island attractions are within a short drive or a pleasant walk, the island also offers public transportation options to help you explore. The nearest major airport is Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport, which is approximately a forty minute drive from the home.
Other Things to Note:
To ensure a smooth stay, please note that check in is at 3:00 PM and check out is at 11:00 AM. Access is granted via an electronic code sent to your phone on the day of arrival. Before check in, you must complete our digital rental agreement and provide a photo of your identification. The primary guest must be at least 25 years old. Our maximum occupancy is 12 people, including all infants and children. Parking is limited to two vehicles, with golf carts counting as a vehicle. Pets are welcome with a fee and prior approval, but they are not permitted in the pool area or on furniture. Please observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM. This is a family oriented property, so parties and excessive noise are strictly prohibited. We provide a starter supply of household essentials, but please plan to bring additional items for longer stays. At check out, please set the thermostat to 78 degrees, place dishes in the dishwasher, and remove all trash to the outdoor bins.
