« The room was clean and cute. It had a comfortable bed and a desk and that’s all we really needed. The area was fairly quiet and a great location to catch a bus or take a quick drive to the parts of city we visited (The Loop and Hyde Park). We had access to street parking directly in front of the property. The shared common areas were a fun aesthetic and very tidy. Online communication with the property managers was timely and direct. We definitely enjoyed our brief stay :) »

« If you are wanting a cheap motel for the night, this is it. Just keep in mind that it’s cheap for a reason. Upon arrival, we noticed a used needle/syringe on the ground. The sheets of the bed were stained so we had to ask for new ones. The shower leaked, there was no mini fridge/kitchenette, no lamps or additional lighting. Not a big deal for a one night stay but maybe for longer periods. The actual place was dirty beyond repair (the stairs, the railings, the storage rooms, the roof overhang)....

« At one point, Rainbow Motel.may have been down, but the new owners are worki g to turn the experience around. What you get: a clean room with TV and a comfortable bed and shower. But, youre also RIGHT across from arguably one of the BEST bakeries in the country (Weber's Bakery -fresh morning sonuts and pastries), around the corner from Chicago's most popular beef sandwich (Portillo's), within a 2 minute walk of several other restaurants as well as an Aldi, Walgreens and Ace Hardware. BUT......

« My stay at McCormick Place Guest House was great and offered good value compared to hotels. I would recommend you contact the guest house well in advance to organize check-in - I sorted that out about a week before my stay and got very clear, easy to follow instructions. They were also able to help me get back into the house after I checked out but realized I had left something important back at the house. After seeing some reviews I was a little concerned about the neighborhood the property is...

U.S. Cellular Field is the 4th MLB stadium that I have visited. The main thing that stands out about my visit is that it was really warm out in the sun, but it felt like the temperature dropped 20-30 degrees in the shade. Awesome stop in Chicago.

"We had to clean/sanitized our room when we got there but apart from that, everything was ok and just had to put food away in our car as they were cockroaches in the bathroom. We stayed two nights and it was close enough from town and parking was free. "
