« A great weekend getaway. »

« Wonderful cabin. Well kept/clean, everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Secluded, perfect place to stay with our very vocal miniature schnauzer. There was nobody around for him to annoy with his barks of excitement! Saw lots of deer including a mama and her twins and one turkey. Enjoyed popcorn and listening to the records. Extremely comfortable bed. Porch was perfect for playing games in the rain and having morning coffee and grilling out. My only complaint was i was expecting a bottle of...

« cabin was centrally located so it was a short distance to town and to the lakes.Beautiful setting by the river and the cabin was very comfortable inside and felt very homey.Kelli the host was easy to communicate to. »

« We had a wonderful anniversary trip to Nauvoo. The historic and quaint Mix House added some period charm to our stay. While the house retains much of its 19th century charm, it has the modern conveniences needed for a relaxing stay. It may have been the off season, but food and meal choices were limited in Nauvoo itself. We were grateful for the items we ordered from The Apron Bake Shoppe. »
