„We had an amazing stay at Mountain Crest! It was clean, well kept, and had amazing views. The drive to the property was scenic, but was close enough to Lead if we needed anything, but also close to all the hiking trails. „This property was perfect for our 2 families (10 people) for a fun ski trip. Loved the location - you could be at the ski lodge in less than 5 minutes and the cabin was beautiful. Nice big hot tub. Excellent kitchen. Plenty of space for all of us to relax and enjoy. The bathrooms were also very nice. We would love to stay here again.“

„The location was great, but DO NOT book through Orbitz or Expedia. Once I spoke with them directly I found it would have been significantly cheaper to contact them directly to book. I asked orbitz if they would honor the true price instead of their extremely inflated price they charged me and they refused. Great location just don’t EVER book through Orbitz or Expedia. They will rip you off!“

„Property was in need a good cleaning. There was used tissues, dirty bandaid on the floor in the master and garbage left around the hot tub. Every wall was dirty and every surface was dusty. The hot tub quit working the first night and when we addressed these issues we were left with a response of the cleaner was in a hurry and not much they could do about the hot tub. Everything in the cabin from the carpet to the games in the basement were very rundown.“

„We LOVED the style of this cozy cabin. It had that perfect touch and was amazing to have our own space on a long vacation compared to hotel rooms. We cooked meals for a break from restaurants. The patio and bedrooms and all the space couldn’t have been better. Easy check in and check out. Just what we wanted in a vacation rental!“

„My husband and I enjoyed our little summer getaway so much! The cabin is beautiful, cozy, and in a perfect, secluded location, but close enough to all the fun attractions. The cabin is a short drive away from walking/biking trails, and I think renting e-bikes at the Kirk Rd. intersection was the best idea!!! The cabin’s kitchen is equipped for whatever meals you’d want to cook, and is the perfect spot to rest and relax after each day.“

„I can't say enough how much we loved our visit in Spearfish. We had never used VRBO before and went in with no expectations. To say that the bar is IMPOSSIBLY high now is not an exaggeration. Not only was our host incredibly thoughtful with how everything is set up but they were also very responsive, helpful, and so kind. We loved this home, and I have no doubt anyone who chooses to stay here will as well!“

„Not ultra deluxe but quite comfortable with everything needed. Just a couple minor things that did not affect our stay but might someone else. We could not locate the remote to the living room tv and the lawn was in need of mowing but neither of these things affected our time there and we were quite comfortable and satisfied.“

Super friendly staff, clean spacious rooms
"From the outside the hotel is very ugly but inside it's nice and comfortable. The rooms are lange and very clean. The breakfast is good with fresh fruit and everything you want. The great staff was incredibly sweet and helpful. You get a lot for very few money. I planed staying two nights and stayed a week because it was so nice. They have 3 whirlpools in a space next to the back door parking lot. My view from the pretty small window was to that parking lot but it was always quiet. A plus is that you can open the window a bit to let the fresh mountain air in. I will definitely come back. "
