« We stayed in a beautiful room with a fabulous view. It didn’t feel like a hotel, more like your own bedroom at home so nice and homely. Following its recent refurbishment on the whole it’s a lovely job. Would we stay again, yes we would. Beautiful views across the harbour and the other direction to Porthminster from the bar and restaurant. »

« 3 french guys cycling around Cornwall, stopping at a different place every night. Life boat and Saint Yves coupled with a late dinner at Porthminster Kitchen has been a thrill. The room 1 fully booked for us was the best accomodation of our tour. And the breakfast was delicious too. Thanks a lot! »

« This hotel has seen better days but I think it is currently under refurbishment. Nonetheless it is clean, well maintained. Rooms are big and I was granted a sea view room even if I booked a regular first priced room. The breakfast is average but I likes it. The staff is nice and helpful. I like the charm of the 70s-80s Grand Hotels, if you do too I would highly recommend the St Ives Bay »

« The room was spacious with very good facilities, such as dish washer, washing machine, cooking utensils. Staff were friendly and welcoming. However, room service was not provided during my 3-night stay that made the atmosphere a bit chaotic, especially the toilet hygiene. In addition, plants inside living room or dining room were dying without proper attention. »
