« Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the welcome gift was a thoughtful touch. The location was also great, with the town centre within walking distance, making it easy to get around. The only issue was with the parking information. The listing stated that parking was available, but I later found out that it is only provided for guests staying 7 nights or more. This restriction was not mentioned in the listing, so it would be helpful if this could be clarified...

« The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. »

« This property is fabulous but it is marketed through so many "middle men" that is what the owner needs to be careful of. In order to make this booking i booked it via Expedia, however they are just advertisers it seems, because Sykes Cottages are then the agents who email you the confirmation and worryingly take full advance payment despite the listing being "pay on arrival" on Expedia. I logged complaints with both Expedia and Sykes Cottages about the false advertising of the payment schedule...

« The room was phenomenal, everything was provided by the host prior to our arrival and communication was clear and succinct. The cottage was clean and ready for myself and the family, and we had a great time, it was near St Ives and Carbis Bay which was a simple five minutes walk away from the cottage. The stay would have been better if the parking was clearly listed and that the WiFi signal goes to the rear bedroom as well. But other than that it was a great experience. Would highly recommend...

« The set of keys that were in the lockbox had a key for the main building door that would not open the lock. We left those keys on the key rack inside the hapartment hall. We left the keys with a brass key that worked for the main door in the lock box. We were fortunate that a lady from an upstairs apartment let us in the building on our arrival. "Hotel well located, nice design, breakfast and food are nice, The desk people are not interested of anything, doing their job with no joy, no sympathy, it’s not lively, except for one waiter at the restaurant who served us at breakfast and lunch who was very nice and joyful Room nice but no AC…and 4th floor bit tricky to get there (not for everyone) Bathroom could be cleaned better (spotted hairs in the shower at arrival), and shower not clean the day after as well as the toilet"

"This hotel has seen better days but I think it is currently under refurbishment. Nonetheless it is clean, well maintained. Rooms are big and I was granted a sea view room even if I booked a regular first priced room. The breakfast is average but I likes it. The staff is nice and helpful. I like the charm of the 70s-80s Grand Hotels, if you do too I would highly recommend the St Ives Bay"
