« Our stay was a last minute decision and we were luckily to get a room for too nights. We also had our little dog with us. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts was lovey and had a good choice. They even gave our dog a sausage, which he enjoyed. The room was small but clean and tidy. The only draw back is that the room was on the top floor, with a lot of stairs to climb. It seemed extra long in the night when the god needed to go to the toilet. But we managed and it was fine. »

« A fabulous stay in this lovely country inn in a quiet village on the Suffolk/Norfolk border. Perfectly located for exploring the Suffolk coast and countryside and the Norfolk Broads. A wonderful welcome from Mark and his team. Nothing was too much trouble and the lovely breakfasts set you up for the day. Great sized comfortable en-suite room. The pub is at the heart of the village community and is excellent value for money. »

« Comfortable room with excellent tea making supplies - and a good sized mug each! The floor fan was useful as it was very warm. The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chef’s kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. »

« It was friendly clean had all you would need for a stay . Breakfast was very good . Having and iron and board in room excellent also fan brilliant for myself . A lovely last minute stay in a position with beautiful views and convenient position for our evening out . »

« A beautiful property set in beautiful surroundings that had every mod con and item you could possibly need! The beds were so comfy and the ensuite shower, well wow! I did not want to get out! The water is so soft and the pressure is far more superior compared to where we live! We visited the beach too for a couple of days, which was amazing, The Trawlerman gets a mention for the best fish n chips we’ve had in a long time! We will definitely return to stay as we have family living nearby now!...
