„The place is indeed spacious and we had a great time mucking about in the river. There is no air conditioner, but it wasn't too bad since it cooled at night and we were out and about most days. It's conveniently located across a general store and next to a restaurant/bar and just a five minute ride to Pinecrest Lake.It is a little bit dated, but it does have most of what you need and you just can't beat the location.“

„We had a great time at the Roost Cabin. We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck taking in the scenery. We loved the area and took several hikes at the nearby Calaveras Big Trees park and also drove up to Lake Alpine. We would definitely love to come to this cabin again. “

„We stayed at the Granite Cabin for a Father’s Day family get together. The cabin was clean, beds comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. Although close to the highway, traffic noise was limited during the day and quiet at night. Strawberry is a nice corner of the Sierra Nevada. Plan on cooking your meals early in the week as local restaurants are closed. We likely will stay at the cabin again. “

„Our stay at Arnold’s Cozy Cabin was perfect! The house is beautiful and nestled among the pines in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by the kindest neighbors. It was a convenient drive to the supermarket (less than 5 minutes), coffee shop, Big Trees, White Pines Lake, and Murphy’s were all a short drive away too, which made our stay very memorable and enjoyable. Thank you Manny and team for the wonderful stay and your responsiveness to all our needs!“

„The house was wonderful! It was beautiful, with plenty of space for our family and in a location near Calaveras Big Trees State Park. We were ten people and there were large cooking pots and a well equipped kitchen. The deck was a highlight, spacious and looking out into the forest. The neighborhood was quiet and a pretty place to go for walks. " Wir haben uns in dieser (riesigen) Lodge sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt!! Unser Zweibettzimmer mit Balkon war sehr sauber und gerĂ€umig, das Bad modern und die Dusche ziemlich groß, herrlich! Leider haben wir auch hier (wie so oft in den USA) in der Dusche eine Handbrause vermisst! Auf dem gesamten GelĂ€nde wird sehr viel geboten, es gibt einen tollen großen Außen- Pool, einen Whirlpool nebenan, unzĂ€hlige Spielmöglichkeiten im Freien, wie Boule bzw. Boccia, das Spiel „Vier gewinnt“, verschiedene Rutschen usw. Ein separates GebĂ€ude mit Aufenthaltsraum (mit offenem Kamin) fĂŒr die GĂ€ste, ein Restaurant, ein großes Spielzimmer (Klettern, Kicker und Shuffleboard spielen möglich). Ganz toll fanden wir auch die „S’mores“ (jeden Abend!) am Lagerfeuer! Die Graham Cracker, Marshmallows und Schokolade, sowie Teleskop-Gabeln zum Aufstecken der Marshmallows, konnte man sich kostenfrei holen. Wir hatten leider nur zwei Übernachtungen, wĂ€ren gerne viel lĂ€nger geblieben!! Diese Lodge ist ideal fĂŒr Familien. Wir werden sie auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen :)"
