We stayed at this home in Steamboat last weekend. The house itself was fine, nothing special. It’s a pretty basic setup with inexpensive linens and standard furnishings. It worked for what we needed.The biggest issue was the management company. I asked several clear questions prior to arrival and never received direct answers, which led to unexpected expenses during our stay. When I followed up and even sent screenshots showing my unanswered questions, they responded in a way that felt dismissive and honestly pretty rude. It was frustrating to be made to feel like I had somehow missed information that was never actually provided. The customer experience was disappointing from start to finish.We also ran into a major issue with the water. After a day on the slopes, the house ran out of water entirely, not just hot water. We called the management company for help and never got an answer or a return call, which was especially frustrating in the moment.One other thing to note is that they don’t offer a shuttle service, which many other Steamboat management companies do. You’re directed to use the free city bus. It works, but it’s not the most convenient option if you’re trying to get into town easily.Overall, the house was adequate, but the lack of support and poor communication from management made the stay far more stressful than it needed to be. I wouldn’t book through this company again.
