But the best part of the stay waa the nice , clean hot tub. We loved how much light was available out back because we could use the hot tub in the wee hours of the morning and feel safe . « First time staying in Alabama. We rent vacation houses many times per year and I can say our stay here was wonderful. It is close to the road, there is definitely road noise, but it didn't matter, the house and the view made you forget the noise. The bed was beyond comfortable! « Property was great for our family! We saw lots of wild life including eagles catching their breakfast most mornings and several herons hanging in the shallow water. Wonderful views of the river and mountains. Well stocked kitchen. Easy check in and check out. Would recommend 4WD/AWD as the driveway might be challenging without. Cabin is 25-30 minutes minimum from main roads and access road is narrow and windy in some spots. »
