Renter was kind and apologetic about the communication issues. Had more time been given i am sure the home would have been ready. "Fabulous! It is so rare to find a spotlessly clean, affordable motel nowadays, let alone a place with a personality, instead of the identical rooms of chain motels. Our room was remodeled with taste: lovely hardwood floors, pretty lamps, an original painting of a mountain, super convenient clothes and towel hangers on beautiful wooden boards, and a real double shower curtain. We enjoyed a very peaceful 3-day family stay: it was wonderful to sit outside on the pretty old-fashioned wrought iron chairs with a book and cup of coffee. The fridge with a separate freezer door was very much appreciated, as well as the microwave and coffee maker. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and the motel is located just off the Blue ridge parkway: very convenient for access to hikes, bluegrass music events and delicious home cooking. The place to go!"
