« We really enjoyed staying in a real house in a real neighborhood for our trip to Kyoto. There was plenty of room for our small family, and we felt we had a more authentic visit to this beautiful city. A couple things to note for those who read reviews is that the stairs to the bedrooms are very steep and narrow, and I worried for my husband navigating them in the dark at night. The bed in the second bedroom is on the floor, which isn't a bad thing considering this is an authentic experience,...

« Charming townhouse showcasing classical Japanese style. Only a short walk from the station. Very friendly staff in the guest building. »

« The actual room is a beautiful and bespoke Japanese design. Lots of room for luggage storage and moving around in the galley style kitchen. It's on a very busy street so you can hear lots of night time traffic but the hotel provides plenty of earplugs. It's right across the street from Toji temple (where we were going) but is a bit of a walk (about 15 min) to Kyoto Station. »

« The house was great and in perfect condition. Great location as it is 3 min from the Inari shrine and close to the train station which is always helpful. Nothing to complain about except 1 thing: there was no pool table as shown on the photos and we were not told about it. The guy who gave us the keys told us it is being fixed, which is fine but we would have prefered to know beforehand as we were very excited about it. »

« 去年の9月に引き続き２回目でした。今回も中年同級生4人で宿泊。自分の家に居る様に過ごせる駐車場も無料で大変、気に入ってるお宿です。数分歩けばローソン、焼肉、美味しいラーメン屋気さくなオーナーが、情報を教えてくださりまた次回もリピします。 »

« Communication about check in time and arrangement was poor. I sent messages in Japanese but they reply occasionally in English, which was strange. I was asked to send all my details including passport number and a photo despite they have all the details with booking , but after all, I had to fill in details again on paper. Very inefficient and time consuming. »

« It was interesting staying in a Japanese house. Really enjoyed that. However the location was not practical sunce we had to taxi to Gion. I was unable to enjoy the beautiful bath since the water was only lukewarm and I tried many times and yes, I pressed the water red button as instructed »

« The bathroom was incredibly unique and beautiful! The amenities were excellent (the washing machine was a bit difficult to inderstqnd and launch correctly though^^) »

"Location, location, location! Super hôtel en face de la gare de Kyoto. Super pratique pour faire des journées à Nara, Osaka, prendre le métro ou trains. Hôtel super confortable et très bon service. Je le recommande! "
