„The location on the water was very good and that is the most noteworthy thing about the accommodation. Everything looks much better in the pictures on Expedia than it actually is. Unfortunately, both the room and the furniture are very worn. The towels were yellowed and had holes. The fabric covers on the chairs were stained and had burn holes. In addition, the cleaning was superficial at best. In many corners there is dust from days long gone. It's a shame, it could be much better.“

„It was a nice comfortable apartment with limited views of the sea. The apartment is literally above the petrol station, it felt precarious at times, but that was probably irrational fear. Good layout, of living space, bedroom with ample storage wardrobes. One set of cupboards was locked up, it makes staying in apartments without full access seem strange. It is a longer walk to V&A Waterfront, but the local shops as Woolworths and Pick-n-Pay are just about 15 minutes away. The WiFi was ...

„The view is what sells the apartment .. it's all downhill from there really. Or should I say 'uphill' as there are 53 steps and 4 potholed paths to get to and from the top apt. Had the number of steps been advertised I would not have booked a stay at the Cove. There is quite a lot of noise from the road and railway which runs right outside. If the look they were going for was 'shabby chic' .. they certainly achieved 'Shabby' ! Walls marked and plaster crumbling away in various places.  ...

„Das Check-in dauerte ewig! Nicht weil es viel zu tun gab, sondern weil sich 4(!) Rezeptionisten auf den Füssen standen und noch bisschen plauderten. Wir waren schon leicht genervt und erwarteten bzgl Unterkunft nicht sehr positives (der Erste Eindruck!), war dann aber alles okay. Die Strasse ist sehr laut, viel gehupe“
