We felt a little confused getting to the property because GPS was not accurate and we had to drive through the parking lot of a dog boarding business but there were signs that were helpful. The home was beautiful and thoughtful. The hot tub was clean and a nice amenity. The pond was beautiful. We woke up to snow on the last day and it was beautiful. Very cozy getaway. « The photos, description, and reviews were misleading. This place was not pet friendly! Not a pleasant drive into the neighborhood and it was hard to access. If you have anything larger than a small sedan and are arriving at night, not a good choice. You must cross an unmarked, unlit, and hazardous narrow bridge in order to enter the property.We are 3 disabled veterans traveling with our support animals. « Location was great and close to nearby State Parks and attractions. Very clean and nice amenities. Even for short stay host provided bottle of wine and small gifts for our stay. We had a comfortable quiet stay away from the kids. Would rent here again if we return to the area. Priced well compared to hotel and much more space. Host was helpful on the holiday to clarify location and parking instructions. We had a lovely holiday getaway. »

The apartment is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood of Oak Hill, a perfect home base to visit New River Gorge and other state parks in the area. « The hosts were very communicative and the location is perfect for people who love to ski but the apartment is in a terrible condition. The sofas very so hard that we couldn’t sit in them, the beds were squeaking, there were no comforters but just a sheet to cover yourself while sleeping, the paint was peeling off in many areas, the TVs are old and not smart TVs, the commodes in the bathroom are too low and small. I can keep going. »
