« I loved the forest access. It was a huge bonus for me. I also loved how close it was to all the other hiking areas and cloudcroft/Alamagordo. Another bonus is hpw dark it gets at night and how little light pollution there is whoch allows to see stars. Even better, the forest was accessible at night which gave way to all kinds of great opportunities for astrophotography. Excellent place. The hosts were quite welcoming, the cabin was clean and well stocked, in a quiet area, and there was plenty of firewood. The kids really enjoyed themselves. We'll add it to our list of places we could return to. »
