„The cottage is small, but perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is a great starting point for various trips to the surrounding area. We had a great time and would recommend it to everyone! Just one thing: the last few yards to the cottage are on a rather steep hill (hence "Hillside") and it can be a bit tricky to park your car there. You'll need to ascend the last few yards up to the cottage, but if you're reasonably fit, it shouldn't be a problem.“

„Lovely stay. All the facilities were comfortable. Loved the outlook overlooking farmland just perfect for a relaxing time. Great selection of TV channels. A warm welcome with milk and biscuits provided which is a nice touch. Highly recommended.“

„Poppy cottage is comfortable both inside and out. The owner was lovely . Loads of information on walks in the surrounding area.
