« For a late summer Tahoe trip with friends, this place was perfect. It’s close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants but set back enough to only hear woodland sounds in the morning. Check in and out was very straightforward. We had very comfortable weather where having the windows open at night was plenty to keep the place cool. »

« We spent the New Years holiday at Salty Bear cabin and had a lovely stay. While the cabin is charmingly rustic, it was not lacking in modern comforts. The heating worked well. Kitchen was well-appointed. Beds were cozy. Shower pressure was strong. Hot tub was perfect. There was one problem that came up at the beginning of our reservation but Renee handled it perfectly and didn’t allow it to ruin our stay. « Everything you would want for a snow cabin experience and more. Everything worked, there were plenty of household appliances and the fireplace pumped some heat! The neighbors were very friendly especially if you had a dog. Owner was super helpful and available. Beds were 10 out of 10 comfortable. Would highly recommend. »
