Cameras are located throughout the property, which added an extra sense of security. The apartment is well-equipped with the essentials you’d expect in a home, including a plunger, private laundry room conveniently located next to the unit, a decent-sized refrigerator with a separate mini fridge, long lasting HOT water, and FREEZING cold A/C.The area outside is fairly public, so we tended to keep the shades closed for privacy. There was plenty of closet storage for two people. The glass entry door took a little getting used to, you need to pull/push it firmly toward the frame while locking it, otherwise it may not latch properly. The host provided instructions ahead of time, and it seems to be one of the quirks of an almost 100-year-old building! We have a bigger SUV so sometimes we did not park in our reserved parking spot because the reserved spots are tight and we didn’t want to risk getting hit.The apartment has been beautifully updated and it’s clear that a lot of care went into the craftsmanship and material choices. As someone who appreciates quality finishes, I noticed and appreciated the attention to detail throughout from the high-end plumbing fixtures, door handles, and cabinet hardware to the lighted mirror and other thoughtful touches. The small details really elevated the space and made it feel more luxurious than many rentals.Everything was clean, comfortable, and felt like home during our stay. Host is super responsive and accommodating!
