« Hotel not as quiet as I'd hoped, but situated opposite the wonderful Tewkesnury Abbey. Good breakfast ! »

« I stayed at this property for a couple of weeks. Positives: Housekeeping and the Central Studios team for enquiries were very helpful. Very close amenities nearby,: convenience stores, a fish and chip shop, an Indian and Chinese restaurant as well as a pharmacy. Rooms are a good size. Negatives: The rooms looked tired and need redecorating. Carpets dirty. The single room I moved into at the beginning didn’t look like housekeeping had properly cleaned it. I had raised over the weeks...

« Hôtel plein de charme, pas de doute on est bien en Angleterre. Seul gros bémol, l’isolation de la fenêtre de ma chambre qui donnait sur la rue. Impossible de dormir après 4h du matin avec le passage des voitures. »

« I booked through Expedia and paid at the time of reservation (night before the stay). I was then charged again when I checked in. I’ve tried reaching out to The Star but with no response so it looks like I’m not getting my money back. Very frustrating! »

« Really lovely staff, lovely room and great food. Only point to note is that the accomodation is above the pub, so if you go to bed early this may not be the place for you as some of the bar sounds can be heard until closing time. »
