« This house was perfect! Beds and couch were so comfortable, entire house was extremely clean and looked recently updated. We cooked several meals while we were there and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. It’s a short walk to the beach, the provided wagon was so helpful hauling things back and forth! Our dogs were living their best life people watching from the gated patio, we loved every bit of our stay! Hostess was extremely friendly and responsive, we will definitely be back! »

« We adored our week here! The home is beautiful and was perfect for our family vacation. The view from the back windows is picture worthy. Our kids loved how close we were to the beach, and they could play in the sand while we drank our morning coffee from the balcony. The home was very clean, and every detail is so thoughtful! The kitchen is well stocked, and the furniture is comfort. The owners are so kind and easy to communicate with! We will definitely book here again! »

« Perfect location for the beach. Pool is small but clean and has benches to relax in at end of day. House is a little dated but fairly clean and kept up well. We had a couple issues with washer but they gave us quick attention. »

« This was our second stay at Rest Area West, and it was just as perfect as the first. The property is well suited to groups, and it includes extra touches such as multiple refrigerators and dishwashers, and the pool is always a welcome way to end a great day at the beach (which is mere steps away!). We will definitely be back. »

The location was great - close to the west end beach and the little pond and bay access were a great little private getaway and kids could run to and from the house as needed. beautiful views from both front and back porches and plenty of seating to just sit and enjoy the sunrise and sunsets. « The property was great, as advertised. The elevator was nice for unpacking and packing but otherwise we did not use it much. Due to the elevator it does create a less open floor plan but for those with issues with stairs it’s a great option. It functioned properly during our stay. »

« Very nice place to stay. Location and views were excellent. Very short path to the beach. House was clean and spacious, well maintained and stocked. Beds were comfy. Lots of beach toys/equipment, too. We enjoyed the kayak and boogie boards. Screened porch a great place to hang out. Cargo lift is such a plus when hauling supplies in and out. « Great bay location. We now prefer the bayside of the island. Quiet and peaceful beach right in front the house. Get the golf cart, so fun to drive all over the island in it. Pool is such a great option when waves are rough or you are tired of the sand. Kids loved hitting the beach in the am and the pool in the afternoon. »
