Of note, due to train strikes 2 of our trains were canceled or skipped the Cramlington stops so keep an eye on that if you make any appointments that rely on public transport. »

« On arrival the man in reception was very welcoming, very pleasant. In fact all the receptionists were very friendly and efficient.
The room was standard so not so big though it was very nice.
I canât understand how my sister booked the same type of room on the same date through hotels.com but at a much cheaper price than us.

« As a hiker on the Hadrians Wall trail, this venue had everything; good food, good beer and a good drying room. After a wet walk this was most welcome.

« The place is an ancient inn in a wonderful spot of the countryside. Perfect for trips along Hadrian's wall or nice walks in the fields. No restaurants in the area except the inn's one, where it's possibile to eat until 8.30 pm. Excellent beer until late.
The toilet area is really tiny, but the rooms are lovely. »

The Easter decorations were exquisite and fun, the interior design and decor full of history and class showing itâs heritage in full glory.
