« Phenomenal place to stay quiet and private »

« My husband & I were in Birmingham for a concert. We enjoyed our stay at The Painted Lady! We enjoyed the historic building, beautiful bedroom & huge bathroom! »

« Great location.. although when we left, the streets were blocked off and had a terrible time trying to get out away from the hotel. It would’ve also been nice to have a trashcan in the bathroom and an extra set of towels »

« They told me they were out of cream for coffee. Also rooftop bar, you stand in single line to order drinks. No wait staff. They were out of tonic water. They charged $200 for our service dog. The hotel is too expensive for what you get. Rooms are very small. »

« The main issue with this hotel is the NOISY elevator. I shared a room with my brother and nephew. We did not sleep good at all. We heard the elevator all night. I am not sure if the elevator is just old and wore out or if the cables need greasing or what. It is very disruptive. They have two elevators but one didn't work and was out of order. From other reviews - this issue may have been around for a while. As a note - we were in room 502. I am assuming all rooms near this elevator can hear the...
