Wonderful relax days

The owners were very friendly and the welcome basket was amazing. The property is very clean and tidy but the highlight is the big pool. Debby and Bob cleaned it every day. We felt safe and welcomed. So it was a very relaxed holiday and we enjoyed it very much. Thanks to Debbie and Bob.

Top- Villa

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Sehr herzlicher Empfang mit einem Willkommenspaket und erster Mahlzeit und GetrĂ€nke im KĂŒhlschrank. In der Villa ist an alles gedacht, man braucht nur eigene Anziehsachen mitbringen. Der Pool ist groß und sauber. Die Villa ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir waren eine Woche im September, die Saison war zu Ende und die StrĂ€nde leer und das Meer warm und sehr sauber. Debbie und Bob unterstĂŒtzen uns in jeder Hinsicht, jede Frage wurde beantwortet, jeder Wunsch erfĂŒllt. Eine kurze whatsapp genĂŒgte. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit. Danke an Bob und Debbie!

Eine wunderschöne Villa fĂŒr einen perfekten Urlaub

Das Haus entspricht vollstĂ€ndig der Beschreibung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Die BegrĂŒĂŸung war sehr herzlich. Alle wesentlichen Informationen zum Haus wĂŒrden uns kurz erklĂ€rt. Ein Willkommens Korb mit Lebensmitten stand in der KĂŒche. Wein, Milch, Saft und Wasser waren im KĂŒhlschrank. Da wir erst am Abend angekommen sind, war das schon richtig toll. Das Haus mit Garten und Pool ist ein Traum. Wir haben hier einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht. Sehr zu empfehlen ist der Morgenspaziergang nach Lendinuso. Dort gibt es frische Backwaren und eine tolle Bar mit einem ersten Espresso und tollem Meerblick. Fazit: Wir kommen wieder

Un oasis dans les Pouilles

TrĂšs jolie villa bien meublĂ©e et Ă©quipĂ©e, vaste et agrĂ©able avec une belle terrasse couverte pour tenir tous les repas.Le jardin fleuri est spectaculaire et il entoure une piscine impeccablement tenue.Les hĂŽtes sont disponibles et ont su rĂ©pondre a nos demandes ou nos besoins lorsque c’était utile ou nĂ©cessaire.C’est un amĂ©nagement idĂ©al pour des retrouvailles de famille avec nos grands enfants et le petit-fils.Évidemment avec la mer au bout de la rue et le bruit des vagues dĂšs que le vent souffle un peu c’est un sĂ©jour trĂšs trĂšs agrĂ©able.Merci Debbie et Bob

Vacances de rĂȘve entre dĂ©couverte des Pouilles, farniente au bord de la piscine

Villa Mare est idĂ©alement placĂ©e pour visiter le Sud des Pouilles, profiter de la mer Ă  50 metres (l'eau est limpide et chaude, plage de galets). La maison est spacieuse et propre, une grande cuisine, un panier d'accueil trĂšs agrĂ©able avec des produits du terroir. Une belle et grande piscine oĂč il fait bon se rafraichir ou se prĂ©lasser. Tout est trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©, il ne manque rien ! Debby et Bob sont trĂšs accueillants et disponibles pour tous renseignements.

Fantastic Awesome didn't want to leave

Just like the pictures maybe better in real life Debbie and Bob and their welcome basket are not to be underestimated after arriving late close to midnight they made everyone feel like aah we made it wine ice cream pasta and a great sleep. In the morning waking up in a beautiful clean cool villa food in the fridge and a refreshing swim in the pool or ocean steps away felt like a king thank you Debbie and Paul I hope we are lucky enough to be able to return every year

Magnifique villa proche de la mer

Nous avons passĂ© une merveilleuse semaine dans la maison de Bob et Debbie. Accueillis avec un panier de bonnes choses pour un dĂźner et un petit-dĂ©jeuner complets, et mĂȘme plus ! Un petit voyage en voiture avec Debbie dans les villages voisins nous a permis de repĂ©rer les commerces de proximitĂ© et quelques restos bien sympas (si vous aimez le poisson, allez sans hĂ©siter Ă  Senza Stile, Ă  5 minutes Ă  pied le long de la mer). La maison est super Ă©quipĂ©e (airco dans toutes les piĂšces + ventilateurs, lave-vaisselle, machine Ă  laver, grande et superbe piscine chauffĂ©e et entretenue tous les jours par Bob, plusieurs salons de jardin et magnifique terrasse couverte avec grande table, chaises et BBQ au gaz, jeux et mobilier de plage, jeux de sociĂ©tĂ©, livres de recettes, de tourisme et romans,
 ) L’endroit est trĂšs calme, bien situĂ© pour visiter des lieux incontournables comme Alberobello, Ostuni, Brindisi, la grotte de Castellana, les magnifiques plages tout au long de la cĂŽte,
 Et si vous ne voulez pas voyager, vous pouvez sans problĂšme aller aux 2 villages voisins Ă  pied ! Une belle plage de sable Ă  10 minutes Ă  pied vous attend

Peaceful holidays

Debbie and Bob really made us feel at home. The house is in front of the sea and super well furnished, the welcome basket included plenty of foods, the house was super clean, the pool is amazing large enough to swim. Location is very calm. Small farmers market and a grocery shop nearby. We also discovered a very calm and beatific beach 20 minutes from the house, a Gelato place 10 minutes away and an organic olive oil and wine producer shop nearby. Thanks a lot for making us feel at home !!

The villa was well presented with an excellent, well maintained pool. The sea is a 50m walk away. There are sandy stretches as well as a reef which is great for snorkelling. The countryside to the West is ideal for gentle cycle rides.

Simply Wonderful!

Stayed for 10 days at the end of June and wished it could have been longer! This is a fantastic Villa with everything (and more) you could possibly need. Even the beds are comfortable which in our experience is a rarity! The Welcome Pack on arrival is superb, particularly the meatballs and Debbie's Orangello (very potent). Debbie and Bob are fantastic hosts and made us feel like family. Their knowledge of the area is invaluable .. lots of tips for places to see and restaurants to visit. We particularly enjoyed the heated pool .. none of that having to psyche yourself up to get in it in the morning! As we are all cat lovers if was so nice to have visits from all the beautiful cats that Debbie and Bob have rescued and take such good care of. I so wanted to bring Bonnie home with me! Also loved the shady area by the outside bar with the hammock. It was extremely hot while we were there and this was a perfect place to relax with a book. The Villa is an easy walk to several good restaurants and plenty of local shops nearby to replenish stocks. We would just like to say a huge thank you to Debbie and Bob for making our holiday extra special and hope to be back again before too long! Debbie, Alan, Andrea and Andy

Prima huis direct aan het strand. Jammer dat de koelkast het niet goed deed (dik 30 graden) maar dat hadden we zelf eerder aan moeten geven. Omgeving direct rond het huis en dorpje niet mooi en erg veel vuil langs strand e/o. Puglia zelf en de stadjes zijn prachtig met name Ostuni.

Family holiday

A lovely villa and pool, with nice owners who were helpful with queries. Our stay was enjoyable even though the area was a little lacking of places to eat or to buy provisions without using the car. We eventually found a garage with a shop and pizzeria and a bar/restaurant close by and the local bakery/deli was fab. Maybe later in June there's more available close by. The locals were so friendly and helped enormously with my pigeon Italian! Our biggest problem was using keys to the outer door of the villa - there's a knack to getting them into the lock and we struggled here abd there with this. Also the extremely slow filter water tap for cooking and drinking. We got used to it and I filled everything first thing in the morning to save time during the day. I love real coffee and the villa had a really good expresso machine. Unfortunately it took a while to master and time to get enough coffee for a full mug . A cafetiere would be great for the villa I think for those guests who want a large cup! Anything else we needed was there in abundance as the villa was very well stocked. The many and varied cats were lovely, and very well behaved. So much so that my grown up son and his partner wanted to take a couple home! Lovely relaxing stay overall.

This house has it all!

The villa was well equipped for cooking, reading, lounging or even games on a rainy day. Debbie and Bob were always available for questions and suggestions. Since the weather was a little cool when we were there, we did a lot of sightseeing trips to the nearby towns of Alberobello, Lecce, Ostuni, Otranto and a few more. We also enjoyed the cooking school day and our trips into the market at Casalabate and walks to the nearby villages. Great house, great hosts and a great trip. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Perfect Peaceful Pretty

We had a wonderful 4 weeks at Casa Mare with Bob and Debbie. The pool is glorious a constant 29c so lovely to swim in. The welcome pack was the best we have ever had and the house was spacious and clean. .The area is rugged and there are two fun villages/towns that are walkable. We went quite late in the season and the last week of our stay up to 15th September a lot of restaurants closed for the season but we always managed to find somewhere to eat at night locally. Fell in love with Bunty one of the cats who adopted us for the month. the others were not a problem as they stay in Bob and Debbie's part of the garden and it is so lovely that they are cared for all their lives. We had to visit a dentist whilst there Lecce as a front crown came loose, We were taken there by Mino who made the meatballs in our welcome pack and the treatment was amazing, came out with a new crown beautifully done on the premises 4hrs later, we were very impressed and it was a lot cheaper than we would have paid in England. All in all Casa Mare is a great place to stay, the bikes were used by our grandson and his girlfriend to visit beautiful local sandy beaches that had loungers to rent for the day, not expensive.Mosquito bar seemed to be their favorite. Lots to see if you want to, the Trulli Village, shopping in Lecce, and we rented a boat for a day with a lovely couple who captained and cooked for us on Click and Boat and had the most wonderful day.Thoroughly recommend Casa Mare if you want to visit Puglia, we all had a great time .

This villa is amazing, great pool and many spacious areas! Great location to explore Puglia

We had a fantastic time at the Villa which has a fantastic heated pool (like a warm bath) and many different areas to relax and socialise. Bob and Debbie were on hand whenever we needed help with things such as directions or restaurant recommendations or bookings, they have also mastered the art of being there to help but also not intrusive on your holiday at all. The villa provided a great location to explore Puglia including Otranto, Brindisi, Lecce and Gallipoli. The welcome basket on arrival was a great touch, especially with a late arrival from the airport. The villa itself is spacious and the kitchen provides a great area to cook and socialise with your group whilst the outdoor veranda allows for drinks in the evening. We couldn’t recommend this villa enough and would definitely stay again if we were to go to Puglia. Thanks Bob and Debbie for your hospitality and making this one of our best holidays to date!

The villa is absolutely lovely. It is comfortable, very spacious and very well equipped.

We loved the villa. It had everything we needed and more. It's set in a peaceful walled garden with lots of seating areas and a fantastic pool. A very relaxing place to stay. Debbie and Bob are great hosts and were on hand whenever we needed advice or support. They provide a really generous welcome basket which was greatly appreciated.

Lovely villa, great facilities

The villa met all of our expectations (from owners description and previous reviews). A lovely beachside location, a stone's throw from a secluded beach with crystal clear waters. The villa has a fabulous heated pool which meant that we could swim very comfortably in May. Inside, every room is spacious and extremely well equipped. The owners gave us a much appreciated welcome basket which included some lovely local produce. They were always around to give us any advice re restaurants, places to visit, local tips etc. A fabulous holiday for my families' celebration of my husbands 60th birthday.

The villa owners ensure that your stay is perfect from start to finish. Way before you arrive the communication is excellent - you can ask any questions and they will be answered very promptly. Exceptional customer service and you feel that they really do care about your stay. The villa description is fully accurate and so when we arrived we already felt at home. Lots of books, games, puzzles, maps and phrase books ensure that you feel that the villa is a home from home. Highlights are the super pool, proximity to the beach, well stocked kitchen, WONDERFUL welcome basket with cereal, bread, home made sauces, chutneys and limoncello along with items in the fridge such as butter, milk, beer and water, meatballs in tomato sauce and cheeses... There are plenty of places within the garden to sit in full sun or shade, with beach chairs/umbrella and pool inflatables available as added extras. The Casa Mare cats are a delight and we enjoyed learning their names and personalities. Walking along the beach to Lindinuso in the mornings for fresh bread, fruit, veg and meat was perfect - all of the villagers we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend if you want a relaxing and non commercialised environment to soak up the Puglian sun.

Family holiday

We had a lovely time at Casa Mare. My husband and I came with my son, daughter in law and 2 grandchildren (5 and 7). It only took us 30 minutes to drive from the airport. The villa is very spacious, clean and well equipped. The welcome basket was much appreciated, as we had enough for our first meal, and did'nt have to go out shopping. The pool was warm enough for the boys to stay in for hours, even though the weather at the end of May was not very hot. It was very good to have the pool cleaned and covered every night, and to have an ample supply of towels. Although our boys managed well, the shallow end of the pool was over the head of the 5 year old. Bob and Debbie were always on hand for queries, but otherwise we hardly saw them, so felt quite private. The boys also loved the hammock, and had a lot of fun with the cats. Although the beach is quite narrow, we appreciated the rock pools, and snorkelling over the seaweed, where we saw lots of fish. We did most of our food shopping in the iper coop at Brindisi (excellent), but got very good bread from the local bread shop. We also went a lot to the Gelateria Vittoria in Squinzano which had delicious ice creams and cakes. we also had a good meal in the restaurant in Via Castello in Messagne. My husband and I had interesting trips to Otranto, Galatina, Lecce and Porto Cesareo, and there were many other towns we would have liked to explore. Overall, a very successful holiday, with something for all the family.
