Hotels nahe Townend (Windermere)

„The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. If we had booked direct with the queens head it details the room helvellyn as having issues with noise etc due to it’s proximity to the kitchen. I think Expedia have been misleading not detailing the facts about that particular ...

„Best hotel and the view. Staff are so helpful. Stayed with the family and we loved the Deluxe Cabin.“

„In general nice stay, good room and location, nice breakfast “

„Very nice place. Well maintained with a lovely hot tub. Good bar on site. We had some issues checking in and can only assume that was down to Expedia (we did not get key code which caused some issues). Would return.“

„Nice place, right time of the year. Cabin and hot tub were excellent. The shared pool leaves a little to be desired for young kids. Especially those who may not be confident in the water. I would go back and stay in Lodge 15 Langsdale again. Short trips in the car gave great views of the area and loads to do. “

„We had an excellent stay with an amazing view of lake Windermere. Our two boys had good reviews of the apartment which is unusual. The apartment was very well kept and very comfortable ♥️“

„Great little cottage in peaceful location. Nearly all perfect and value for money, the only downside is the mattress was terrible, felt like lumpy concrete and impossible for a good nights sleep“

„Excellent spot. Easy access. Clean and had everything that was needed. Only issue was the shower doesn’t drain.“
