« The staff was pleasant, very nice, same as other reviews, there was the occasional nightly smoke alarm and fire department visit, the only real drawback is no real amenities kind of a trade-off, I moved to a different hotel for better amenities, but then the place I moved to smelled funny and was much older, lesson learned. I should’ve just stayed for the final three nights at Echo suites. »

« Nice clean family friendly hotel in safe area. We found we had to drive to get to restaurants. Was cool to visit the State St division between VA and TN about a 10 minute drive away. The middle of the street has little gold markers here and there between the yellow lines to designate the two states so you can straddle them. There were a few restaurant/bars and antique shops. Most places were not open on Wednesdays which is when we were there. The area felt safe, but not touristy. »
