„It’s such a lovely place, a historic building surrounded by beautiful gardens. The evening I arrived I went for a hike to the nearest tor. The foot path starts right across the street and takes you up to wonderful views of the countryside in just 20 min! My room had a big bath tub and I took a long bath after the hike. „We were visiting family in Lifton ,Launceston and the surrounding area and had not visited this guest house before,but will certainly go back again. The house is spotless and beautifully maintained and breakfast is straight forward and well presented a great way to start the day. The host's are lovely people,what more can I say.“

„Bed was very comfortable and room was lovely. Gorgeous view. Food was good too and I appreciated the breakfast hamper although some might prefer a hot breakfast. Only minor annoyance was hearing lots of kitchen noise when I was trying to get an early night. But I was so tired I couldn’t be bothered to get up to ask anyone to be quiet! Overall I would go back. The staff were all lovely and helpful and found me safe overnight storage for my bike. “

„Me and the wife are both disabled and because we notified the hotel at the time we booked our room we were given a room specifically designed to cater for people with disabilities.Compered to a lot of hotels that do not adapt any rooms or entrances or exits to cater for the disabled due to costs we found this such a bonus.“
