« The cabin was perfect and just what we needed. The lakefront property was idyllic and indeed the slice of wilderness heaven promised in the listing. The host, Barb, was helpful, kind, compassionate, and quite amenable and understanding. She even came out in a storm when we locked ourselves out by accident. The location and proximity to other jewels of Maine as well as the freshest of seafood and Maine home cooking made day trips a very feasible possibility! You can’t miss with this property...

« What a beautiful property! It's located at end of a long gravel road on a tidal river. There's a deck, firepit, and basketball net. You can check the tidal clock inside and explore the riverside at low tide. It is 40-ish minute ride to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Nearby is a Hannaford supermarket and a LL Bean outlet, with plenty of other stores and restaurants nearby. « This lodge was absolutely stunning! It had so many amenities and was close to the river. It was a super relaxing and beautiful location & lodge. The pictures of the lodge and land does not do the property justice! 10/10 I would recommend anyone to stay here. My husband and I are already thinking to come back and hopefully stay longer than this visit. »

« This quaint stay was everything we needed for our trip to MDI. Becka was a wonderful host (as was her angelic dog, Cayenne), and we loved the rustic setting. The rental was well and thoughtfully stocked. The outdoor shower was so enjoyable, serenaded by the nearby apiary. Even the early bird rooster made us laugh. Would happily stay again. »

« This is the perfect house to visit Acadia, very close to the Hull’s cove visitor Center and the ocean (there is a rocky beach at the end of the street). The house was very clean and had plenty of room for our two families. Sand beach was the perfect place to swim in the Ocean. »
