« Our stay at this lovely home was great. Everything from finding the property to check-in and then the stay itself was great. The kitchen was very well equipped and there were a lot of small, but very thoughtful touches that made the stay comfortable. I was there with my daughter and a few of her friends and girls had a blast. « Our stay was okay however the property was quite messy and differed greatly from the online listing. The listing said there would be things such as wifi and when we arrived we were told we had to bring our own wifi. This did not majorly impact our stay as we still had a good time however it was disappointing to not have amenities that were on the listing. »

« Nice clean updated property with Hot Tub, Pool Table and Table Tennis. Dock is great for launching kayaks and SUPs. Large deck to watch the water and sunset from. Large outside fire pit, and good size lawn area. Hosts are quick to reply to any questions. »

« The perfect slice of tranquility. We were immersed in nature. That means quiet, bird song and croaking frogs. It meant a visit from a tortoise, turkeys and the sound of whispering leaves. The cabin is well appointed and clean. It felt comfortable. It was the relaxing getaway... with ping pong and a little canoeing. The only downside was some mosquito bites... expect that when going into nature! Overall, it couldn't have been better. »

« The inside of this property contained everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kitchen utensils/gadgets, seasonings, coffee/selection of herbal teas, foil and even bug spray. The cottage was incredibly clean and there were plenty of linens provided. Outdoor amenities were a disappointment but management was willing to discuss and compensate us for the watercraft rental when we weren’t able to use the (inflatable) kayak. « We really enjoyed our holiday at Avalon! The host met us to explain the property, and a little "Father's Day" cup with chocolates was waiting for my husband. Family visited us one day for a celebration and everyone loved the cottage. My son was all for booking it next year again. A few people have shown interest when we talked about our experience. Beautiful cottage, small but just perfect for a lake holiday. All the ammenities etc. were outstanding & beds super comfy. Would definitely rent...

« We needed a place to stay on the way to Kingston, ON. We spent a night at the property. There were 6 of us and our dog; we were comfortable and enjoyed the charming living room. We had dinner and breakfast in the kitchen. Everything was clean and worked well. »

« From the moment we arrived we felt completely at home. The cottage is absolutely beautiful- clean and so well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing gateway all five nights. We especially loved the peaceful surroundings and that incredible view. We were looking for a special place to unwind and recharge and we found that there. The host is very thoughtful and kind! »
