« We stayed here as our son was competing in the Lake Placid Ironman. This location was perfect. Short drive to Lake Placid. The property was exactly as described and even better in person. It's cute and cozy. The Jay area is beautiful and would love to come back and hike in the area, as the cabin is close to many trail heads(short drive, under 15 minutes) Shannon's communication was outstanding! « Great cabin, very responsive and kind hosts, great location. We stayed for a long weekend with two little kids- great location for hiking and sight seeing. The kids loved the hot tub and loft area. The only suggestion I would have for families with kids is to bring a gate, the stairs are steep. Otherwise we had a great time. Will definitely re-book! »

« Cozy, cute, comfy, private, and tranquil indeed. Didn’t want to stay in busy Lake Placid, which was not too far for me. The sauna and hot tub were a huge plus. 5 stars for two nights. If more nights, it probably would be a 4 star for me because it was not really roomy for me, a big guy. The host communicated and responded well. You can use hosts’ two small kayaks and enjoy paddling in Mirror Lake! »
