„We were able to make meals when we chose to stay in because all of the basic cookware and utensils were available. This trip was myself and 4 adult daughters so 3 full baths was one of the reasons I chose this property. The dining room table was for a large family and the living room was cozy for board games and movies. This was the perfect setup for our family. It was home away from home. Highly recommended for families.“

„This place was a fantastic location for me and my boyfriend to get to and from the lacrosse tournament that he was playing in. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, it is less than a 10 minute drive to downtown Lake Placid and numerous trailheads in the area. We appreciated that it was pet-friendly and were able to bring our rescue pup along with us. The house was extremely clean and exactly as shown in the photos. Would definitely stay here again.“

„This was the first time in five years of visiting Lake Placid that we rented someone’s home. We won the lottery with this gorgeous house with its spacious rooms, luxury fixtures, fully stocked kitchen, laundry room, game room, vaulted ceilings, clean beds, linens, furniture and perfect location. John welcomed us by phone and was true to his word that he would be a text away. He offered detailed advice about outdoor activities, restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores. "Das Cambria Hotel war das schönste auf unserer 4-wöchigen Reise durch die Neu-Englandstaaten. Das lag vor allem an den herzlichen Mitarbeitern (vom Hotel-Manager David angefangen) über die Leute an der Rezeption und im Restaurant. Zudem hat das Hotel einige Annehmlichkeiten, die deutlich über dem Durchschnitt liegen. (Laundry, Innenpool, Restaurant-Terrasse mit schönen Möbeln, Kajaks und Tretboote zum Ausleihen und einer schönen Aussenanlage am See mit Feuerstellen) Wir haben uns in dem schönen, recht großzügigen Zimmer mit Pantry, mit Ausblick auf die Berge und dem tollem Badezimmer sehr wohl gefühlt. Von uns gibt es eine Empfehlung für Lake Placid für dieses Hotel."
