Amazing outdoor space

The outdoor pool area was amazing. The indoor carpets had many stains on them but probably due to the age of the carpets. The outdoor deck was very nice but the main area just had a lot of boards replaced and should have had more, many nail heads broken off and sticking up and a few boards still rotted through

Relaxing Vacation Spot

The house it’s self was in a great area and very quiet. We were able to fish a little off the dock so that was fun. It was great for the whole family. Only downside (if you would even call it that) there is extra steps from the Queen on the second floor to the kitchen area, and a few steps going into the master bathroom. Other than that it was a great place and we would stay there again!

Terrible experience and nothing was done to make up for the bad experience.

We traveled over 10 hours to visit for a family wedding. When we arrived checkin was made very easy. However, that’s about the best experience I had during my stay. The main floor toilet was messed up and needed to be repaired. The bottom floor heater did not work and needed to be replaced. The jet tub was out of service in the master bedroom. The master shower leaked into the teenagers room below the bathroom. Therefore, the four teenagers had to sleep in the living room and on the couch, that really needs to be replaced. We contacted the company about the issues and they were very quick to show up to assist. Some of the issues were addressed, but not all. We were now having to share two restrooms between 4 families I personally chose this house due to the amenities they offered, but we did not get what we paid for. My grandchildren had to camp out on the couch and floor. I did not expect to pay for a house that I could not take a bath in or make the children sleep on the floor. We were told that we could get a $200 credit to stay at another unit up there, but I have no future plans of traveling up there again, nor do I have the need to use Sandbridge again. Another party that was at the wedding had issues with their VRBO as well, and they were upgraded free of charge to a better location. I am highly dissatisfied with this stay and I do not recommend Sandbridge. I just don’t feel that we received what we paid for.

Getaway

The stay was great, Except for Tuesday and Wednesday where there were a work crew working all Day with Back hoes and a crew. My wife was really upset over that. She didn't like laying out by the pool with all the traffic next door. Other than that, we had a Great stay. Beautifull Place

Spring Break review at Sandbridge

My wife and I, 3 teenage boys and our fog had a fantastic time in the lovely home. The property management was very responsive to our needs and addressed all issues. The house is just as described but the pictures need to reflect current state. Living-room furniture was a little too dusty and the grill outside needs cleaning. We would be coming to this property again.

Sandbridge stay

It was great loves the fenced in yard for our pup and the dock was awesome to sit and fish ! Loves the porches and the design of the house I also like the kitchen and plenty of dishes and cooking utensils

House needs attention

We encountered many issues with the property. First, we were unable to unlock the garage due to severe decay in the lock mechanism. We contacted the management company and a representative did come out. After much struggling, we were finally able to get one key to work. The temporary solution was to leave the garage unlocked until the lock could be replaced, which it was a few days later. We encountered internet deficiencies which was a major issue since members of our group needed to work remotely. This is not the fault of the management company but some communication after we reported the issue would have been appreciated. A burner on the stove didn't work. With the Thanksgiving holiday, having full use of the stove would have been nice. The cover on the dishwasher was very loose...more of a nuisance than problem. A towel holder in the main floor bathroom fell off the wall. Cleaning staff had to have known this as it took great balancing to get it to stay on the wall. Water from the shower in the master bath leaked into the room below. Evidence of prior leaks was apparent on the ceiling. All of these items with the exception of the internet problem existed prior to our arrival. Either these issues were not previously reported to the management group, or they chose to ignore the problems. I understand that this is a rental property. Our family has stayed in many over the last several years including other properties in Sandbridge. The homes we selected to rent in this area just do not meet the standards we have experienced in other regions.

For the price, this home and location did not measure up. The exterior was in serious need of some TLC. Cobwebs and spiders were everywhere! The grill was unusable (a fire hazard), the beds were not super comfortable, one of the stove top burners did not work, and the floor plan of the house did not bode well for multiple families. Our AC did not keep up (we tried to keep the temperature at 74 degrees and it would routinely climb to the low 80's during the day). We wish there would have been beach chairs and an umbrella for us to use but to be fair, this was not listed in the amenities. On the plus side, the pool was great, the upper deck had a great view of the bay and we were located on a quiet street (about a 1/2 mile from the beach). Bottom line; for a lower price, this house would be fine but I would not stay here again.

Great location, great pool and a big yard and a awesome garage made into a great place to watch football. Furniture was a little dated, cleaning was not the best, but we would for sure rent again.

Was ok.

Sandbridge is a great location and overall Bay Dreaming met our needs. The house it big, and we had plenty of room (4 adults, 4 teens). The kitchen and dining room have been updated and look great. The kitchen has more than anything you’ll need and has good quality utensils and pans. The pool is well maintained. With that said, I’m a big reader of reviews, so I’d like to be transparent with some concerns we had during the trip. We live in Ohio, and with everything going on with Covid, we had some reservations going into this trip. About two weeks prior to our leaving, we received an email from the management company with an in-depth video on all of the new processes and procedures they’re taking in order to ensure that every rental house they manage is meticulously cleaned. They even changed the check-in time from 3pm to 4pm to allow an additional hour for the cleaning crew. After seeing this video, we felt relieved that the company was taking this so seriously and confidently decided to go on the trip. We arrived at Bay Dreaming at 5:15 pm and much to our dismay, the cleaning crew was still cleaning the house! Not only was this annoying after a 9-hour drive, but also concerning because the crew was rather large (about 8 women) wearing no masks. We contacted the rental agent and were told they were finishing up. We had to wait about 15 mins before we could enter the house. When were did enter, the cleaning did not live up to expectations. It was clearly rushed. One of the bathrooms hadn’t been cleaned at all. Additionally, two of the bed coverings had red spots that appeared to be blood. The cleaning not only didn’t meet that standards outlined in the video but didn’t meet basic pre-Covid standards. We took pictures of everything and sent them to the rental agent, who was very responsive. She asked if we wanted the cleaning crew to return. We didn’t want anyone unmasked in the house, so we declined and ended up doing our own cleaning – not a way to start a vacation! Some other minor things to note. The air conditioning was struggling the whole week. It was one of the hottest weeks of the summer, but it really didn’t do the job. We anticipated using the pool house a lot, but unfortunately there was a strong mildew smell that was hard to get past. We did see some mold around the AC unit in there which may have contributed to the odor. The gazebo area had stained cushions. The living room couch was extremely uncomfortable.

Fun and relaxing place

I loves the design of the home. The pier was great for fishing and kayaking. There were fun games both indoors and outdoors to play. The pool was used everyday. I would recommend "Bay Dreaming" for a relaxing and great time!

An amazing experience

Everything was as listed and then some. This is one amazing property with everything you could ever need. We were checked on as soon as we got there letting us know they would help take care of anything we needed. This is a great place to spend time with family and making memories. I could not be happier and would reccomend this property to anyone. If your just thinking about it go for it, this is where you want to spend a family vacation.
