„Newly constructed property. The walls were thin - noise could be an issue. We stayed on the first cold weekend of fall. The downstairs bunk room had no heating- just a blank switch plate where the thermostat should have been. The host was unaware of this. The portable air conditioner in the living room let enough cold air in during a wind gust - that the living room was uncomfortable.These are all issues that I am sure this host will iron out - she was very responsive and easy to work with. „Osprey Cabin was almost new, and had very nice furnishings. It was a very hot afternoon when we arrived, so the closed cabin was stuffy and the lack of AC noticeable in trying to cool it down. We appreciated the communication from the manager and the easy check-in/out. The property is attractive and near the pond, but if there were other things to do, they were all locked up.“

"This is very extraordinary. We visited Nevada City and decided to stay in a cabin of this hotel that is located in Virginia City - but the cabins are right next to the old museums town of Nevada City. So, you drive one mile back and get an authentic cabin of the settlers (but with modern elements like power, AC, hot water, etc). We travelled with young teens and they thought we making a joke but the liked it as well. For dinner, it is just a mile to Virginia City, for breakfast you have a great option in Nevada City. Overall, this was a great experience and worth the stop."
