„Everything about our anniversary weekend was amazing. The hotel, the staff, the bar & restaurant, all exceptional. The reason for 3 stars is I was sold a “partial ocean view room” and I got a frosted glass slider, bolted shut, overlooking the buildings HVAC systems. I could have booked 15,000 rooms at a beachfront on the grandstand but opted for quieter and off the strip in MB. Even the front desk staff said my reservation was extremely misleading. „Do not stay at Garden City Inn. The reviews and photos online do not accurately reflect the state of the property. The beds are hard and uncomfortable, the room was not clean, and upper management does not care about your experience. I cut my stay short due to the dirty conditions of the room (soap scum and dirt in the shower, hair on the floor and towels) and how uncomfortable the bed and sheets were. „The hotel was great. The pricing was good but…. The room floor could have been a little cleaner. Other than that the bed was extremely clean and comfortable, bathroom was clean and the room in general gave good vibes. Location of pool and to the beach was excellent. „We did not like a thing about this hotel. The TV and internet did not work the whole time we were there. I got charged for a room with two beds for 3 people and got a room with only one bed. They would not return our deposit said the room was trashed when we left said they had pictures but refused to send us pictures. this hotel should not be open at all you couldn't swim in the pool cause it was so nasty. there was blood on our bathroom wall where it had not been clean. „It didn’t look anything like the pictures it was ran down. They only have the front building repainted looking okay. You couldn’t walk around in the room without shoes. There was no hot water so we didn’t get to shower. There was a lot of damage to the walls doors and floors. One spot they put up a random piece of plywood and screwed it to the wall to cover up a hole in the drywall. There was also a big roach dead in the floor when we woke up. „The Double-bed room was very big and spacious. the bathroom wasn't that big, but it was ok. The employees were friendly and welcoming. Beds, bath, fridge, tables were very clean. The kitchen cabinets are old, we didn't used them so it's ok. The pool area were perfectly clean, water was clear. U also have access to the beach where is also a small shower to wash of the sand.
