Cottage 2 is comfortable. It's location, just a walk over the dunes to the beach, is great!

Humble and fantastic!

Stunning ocean access in a humble, comfortable place. The best part by far is the short walk to the relatively secluded beach. The weekend we stayed in February happened to be beautifully warm. This place has the necessities and is located by cute small beach towns. I would stay here again!

The location has a wonderful view. The bedroom area upstairs is super cozy. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots and pans, utensils and basic spices for making meals. Tyler and Michelle were very responsive and helpful to us.

Spring break

We had a great time. The only thing i would say is maybe some upgrading in the bathroom and stove. The stove turned in by itself which was a little concerning. But over all a very comfortable unit.

We've stayed a few times at the Sanderling Sea Cottages and each time has been great. Unit was as described. slightly dated, but very clean and welcoming.

Amazing as always!

This place has alot of old memories for us. My family has stayed here since i was a kid and we have always loved it. We will be sad to see it gone as i understand the 3 old cabins will be torn down soon. Thank you so much for years of family memories.

Great stay! Superb location and easy in and out. Super clean!! We were worried and brought our own cleaning supplies, but really didn't need them. Uber clean property! Great deck on second floor too, albeit small. Perfect sunset viewing spot.

Just what I needed

I loved this little beach cottage! The walk to the coast was quick, and I could even see the ocean from the balcony. It’s just what I needed for a short getaway. Thank you! Some cosmetics updates/touchups are needed and a deep clean, but overall it was great!

Cozy Beach Stay

This is the third time staying at a property in this complex. This unit is as described. The house was clean, and well furnished. The photos do not show the sliding glass door has fogging that does impact the view of the ocean from the living room. In the description neighboring units are mentioned, we found that listening to neighbors moving around was a bit of a drawback. We were happy with our time at the beach, but probably won't rent this unit again.

Cute spot

It's a cute spot close to everything we wanted to do with our children. The furniture was comfortable and my children enjoyed the space. Out only problem with the spot was all of the goat heads and stickers in the yard. My children unfortunately couldn't play outside. And pictured are benches in front of the units we stayed in for watching the sunset or waves, and we had no benches in front of the 3 units we stayed in, so we spent very little time outside. Overall we enjoyed our stay though.

Great location right on the beach. Loved sitting on the deck. Cottage is hard to find, there is no sign for Sanderling Sea Cottages, just the number on a building which is set back from the road and hidden by a hedge as you approach by road. Use Google maps and look for the flimsy Evolve sign by the driveway. Place needs updating - rather shabby looking with mismatched curtains etc. He stairs up to the bedroom are steep. If you have any problems with stairs this isn’t the place for you.

Beach access was nice.

The cottage what smaller than anticipated and beds were extremely uncomfortable and hard. The TV listed over a hundred channels yet there was only 2 for kids to watch and getting the remote to work was difficult. The kitchen had must cooking essentials for dishes. The back yard had stickers in the grass and kids got them stuck in there hands and feet at times plus they got tracked into the cottage and then people stepped on them. The pleasant part of our trip was the close access to the beach and seeing the waves every morning. We drove down to Bob's Creek and explored the tide pools. Overall we will not stay again.

Great little place

Loved this little place especially its great location. Had an issue with the cable box and we msgd them. They were there right away! Great service! Comfy beds, clean, could listen to ocean while we slept. Only one thing…. Worst stocked kitchen! Not even a fork or plates. Bring everything. Lol. We spent a week at a house in Newport that had an over abundance of kitchen stuff (like 30 wine glasses) to nothing. So it was a shock. Lol. Did not ruin the stay at all though. Great little place that could be greater by just stocking the kitchen. Thank you! Would definitely stay again!!!!

Relax at the beach

This is our 3 rd stay at this lil beach home. We like that it is close to town where we can get groceries and fix meals and never have to leave. Take many walks on the beach and collect treasures. Sit on the deck and soak up sun and listen to the waves crashing. It’s very nostalgic and quiet. The past few nights we could see all the stars in the sky and see a horizon of lights shimmering on the ocean from the fishing boats. We counted 16 boats. We were wondering what they were fishing for? We visit the Sunday market in yachats and get fresh bakery from the lil store there. This lil place is our new favorite place to unwind.. 5 stars in our opinion. In reading the reviews I can agree that the sticker plants in the landscape those are a nuisance. A cutting board is needed and sharper knives. We just bring our own and we are content. Can’t wait to go back!!

Lovely Home

This is a well-located place, close to Yachats and still not far from Newport.The downsides: as has been mentioned, the glass on the sliding doors has become fogged, which does impact the view.The place feels a little dated.You will hear the neighbors.That said, it was still a great place!My dog and I absolutely loved waking up and walking right out onto a huge beach.The view from the bedroom is also lovely, great for just kicking back and relaxing.I liked that there was a second level, which made the place feel larger (and provided that view, unfogged).And though I could sometimes hear neighbors moving about, they weren't loud or disturbing. Plus, that's to be expected with an attached structure.
