« The home was the perfect location for a relaxing vacation. Though located in the Wintergreen resort, the home was very private. The property is extremely well maintained and the kitchen and baths have been updated. The kitchen was well equipped. We appreciated having the gas grill on the deck which we used several times. There is a nice view of the mountains and valley from the deck and owner's bedroom. Their are ample hiking and biking opportunities close by, and are well worth taking the time...

« This was a perfect home to come and enjoy the beautiful mountain. The home had everything needed and loved the outdoor space. We even saw deer from the back deck on several nights. This was a relaxing stress free trip which will always be remembered. »

« The Jackson River Estate was the perfect getaway for our 2025 Family Reunion. The estate is very spacious and provides magnificent views. There is river access but the water is cold. The pool and slide were a big hit! Cole’s Point (beach), the humpback bridge and waterfall were super close and great excursions. This location is great for families that like to be outdoors…hiking, fishing, kayaking…Check-in/out was super easy. Although we heard there might have been a bear, there was no sighting....

« We had a wonderful stay. We were made to feel so welcome. Our children had a great time. The house was very clean. Very stylish and well decorated. There was everything you would need. Excellent in every aspect. »

« Scott was a great host. We had a wonderful time. Actually, we had to cut our vacation short by one day and Scott was very gracious about that. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, it will be at this cabin. »

« The house was clean and we liked the open layout. The hot tub was also clean and great for after the hikes we did each day. The kitchen was fully stocked and appliances worked great. We used the gas fireplace every night, it was easy, just flip a wall switch. Smart tv made it easy to sign into our accounts....we more than likely forgot to sign out of them, so remember to do that. The house accepts pets and was one of the only ones at Wintergreen that allowed cats which we were grateful for. ...

« We had an amazing vacation here at Sutton’s Roost. Home was terrific for us and our kids. Tons of room, well stocked kitchen, hot tub and sauna to calm our aching muscles after hiking all over the place. Upper back porch to relax and eat and watch the stars. Game room for movie nights with giant TV. Huge comfy beds for all. Wintergreen resort and surrounding area is absolutely amazing. « Everything was great. The cabin was perfect for our family of nine. The furnishings, linens, beds and well stocked kitchen were super. The deck and its furniture, the hot tub, sauna and fire pit awesome! The cabin and natural setting was just what we needed. The rhododendrons were in full bloom, awesome. Great hostess. « An amazing view of the valley, the home was gorgeous, well stocked with essential items and more. The beds were very comfortable, the whole house had a comfy, welcoming atmosphere. The adventures we went on were within 30 minutes of the house.We had a wonderful time there! »
