„This was such a lovely, cosy cottage. Really well equipped with plenty of space for the two of us. We particularly liked the wood burning stove. The cottage is just a few yards from the pub in a quiet, out of the way spot. Ideal for a couple wanting to get away from it all for a few days“

The host was amazing, very responsive with questions and even gave me a free night of stay due to a mix up with the booking. They have thought and catered for everything such as a fully equipped kitchen, bunk beds for the kids, the small details like a variety of board games, tv in every bedroom, kayaks and so much more. I have been to the estate a few times and would not hesitate to stay at Jess Cottage again.“

„Location was great and right in the centre of Newbury. Apartment was equipped with everything needed for a stay away from home. The room was uncomfortably hot and the small amount the windows opened and fan were no use. Our shower was totally blocked but it was sorted. Cleanliness of the apartment was not to my standard. “

„Bedrooms lovely but tight around beds. but en-suites quite roomy. So easy for different groups to do different things in the huge barn dinning/kitchen/lounge. Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions.“
