„We had a fantastic stay at Carpenters cottage in Heacham. The cottage was extremely comfortable and well equipped with a generous welcome basket provided by the host. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. We had two lovely meals at the Rose and Crown in Snettisham (a short 6 minute drive) and at The West Norfolk within walking distance. The host couldn't have been more helpful. We would definitely return and highly recommend this wonderful cottage.“

It was very clean and comfortable and our host, Pauline was next door if we needed anything (we didn’t). We used the Coasthopper bus to Brancaster Staithe and walked back (almost 12 miles) - have done the other direction to Blakeney and Cley before but weather was uncertain so took the car. Lots of great places to eat in Wells and the surrounding area - excellent meal at the ...

„its a small cottage but with everything one needs, and a lovely small outside table and chairs - ideal when the weather is good. Stiffkey is a nice village with an excellent shop and is close to the Norfolk coast path and the bus stop for the excellent Coast Hopper bus service“

„A lovely base to explore the area, great location. Lots of info on restaurants and places to visit nearby. A nice complimentary bottle of wine which was a nice little treat. Parking space was fine for our ford eco sport, could see it being a bit tight on some larger vehicles. Thanks for a lovely stay.“

„Everything we expected and a little more. Seating in lounge fine but after a time a little uncomfortable. Maybe a more modern type of arm chair with softer cushions. Unfortunately we have a bed settee at home and after a time a little hard on the old bum. Kitchen well appointed and practical. Bedrooms very good. Bathroom A1. Location could not be better and the car park ideal, could see thd car at all times from the back windows. Would definitely stay again.“
