„This seemed like a good location and a nice upmarket looking flat, with quality amenities and furnishings from the advert. We were shocked when we arrived to find the front of the property piled high with garbage. Bags, open food waste, open bins. It smelled horrendous. It was also over 30 degrees C. We were supposed to be in the upper flat, but had been assigned the ground floor flat, whose windows were located over the garbage. The only windows. No air con. No fan inside. It was dark ...

„The room was pretty dirty and didn’t feel like it had much of a clean before we arrived. The shower was terrible, no water pressure if someone has had a shower before you, no space if you’re moderately tall, and no space width wise either. They didn’t provide enough soap/shower gel for more than 1 day for 2 people. The room was quite cold and we couldn’t figure out the heating. The staff replied quick and check in was simple however the last night an alarm was going off from the hours of 3.30 ...

„Lovely little top floor flat in central Penzance. Had everything we needed for our stay and was well appointed, beautifully clean and warm on arrival. Instructions and communication from owner was spot on. We got the train so cannot comment on parking, but the flat is on a pedestrianised shopping street so there is no vehicular drop off immediately outside. We used the ‘Ride-on’cycle shop, a five minute walk from the bus and train station, to drop off our bags prior to check in and check out ...

„There was a bad sewage smell in the flat that seemed to come from the cupboard containing the mop. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable despite my friend bringing a mattress topper with her. It had springs sticking out. They don’t tell you before you check in that there is either a 38 non refundable deposit or a 200 hold on your account in case you break something. The flat was in a good location by the beach. New bedding needed for the main bedroom“
