Nice location, but outdated Hotel
The only plus in Best Western is the Location. Very nice, direct at the Riverwalk. Con: I think the building used to be a Motel. Still has outdoor corridors. Looks like they just build a new part in front of it, where is now a tiny Lobby. Breakfast room on the 3. floor. Equally tiny, it has 3 tables for all the guests. Guess how the breakfast rush hour is...... Rooms are outdated, beds for my taste too soft and worn out. Bathroom also in need of renovation.

I had a nice room with a king on the top floor. The view on the river was spectacular, especially at sunset. The room had a fridge and microwave. Parking is available directly in front of the hotel. Front desk staff was always friendly and helpful. They were able to let me check into my room even before the normal check-in time. The hotel was in the process of exchanging furniture and performing some repairs on the property, which was a little noisy at times. Breakfast was a little crowded but had many choices available. The hotel is perfectly located on the Wilmington Riverwalk.

Schöne Unterkunft an perfekter Lage!
Sehr schöne Unterkunft in einem Backsteingebäude, direkt am Fluss. Ebenfalls in Gehdistanz findet man viele Restaurants und Bars - dort spielt sich an den Wochenenden das Leben ab! Parkplätze stehen grundsätzlich genügend zur Verfügung. Bei unserem Aufenthalt fand jedoch eine Hochzeit im Nebengebäude statt (gehört wohl zum BW), was zu Parkplatz-Engpässen führte. Negativ: die Grösse des Frühstücksraum ist eine Zumutung für die Anzahl Zimmer. Am Buffett stehen sich die Gäste gegenseitig auf den Füssen, Sitzplätze hat es ca. für 10 bis max. 15 Personen.

Parking has become a big issue in our area as we share a lot with 3 other businesses and we offer free parking. We are working on fixing this issue but its not an immediate fix. We do hope you will come back and visit with us again

Leider ein nicht zu empfehlendes Hotel
Das Badezimmer war nicht sauber. Ein Teil der Schränke konnte nicht benutzt werden, da die Scharniere ausgebrochen waren. Das Frühstück wurde in einem so kleinen Raum serviert, dass das Hotel sogar Tische auf den Flur stellen musste.

Gutes Hotel in der Nähe zum Stadtzentrum um es zu Fuß zu erreichen. Schöne Aussicht wenn man ein Zimmer auf den Meerarm hat. Alles in allen sehr gut.

Nettes Hotel direkt am Riverwalk
Das Hotel liegt am Riverwalk von wo man prima in die Altstadt kommt. Das Personal war freundlich. Unser einziger Wermutstropfen war das Fehlen eines Pools- da hatte ich die Beschreibung wohl nicht ordentlich gelesen.

The staff was always very nice and accommodating, and the breakfast was good. Unfortunately, my room wasn't as clean as I hoped. The floor had not been swept and was dirty, and when I moved a chair there was old nuts and crumbs and loose change underneath, so the floor had not been swept. The blankets were extremely thin and scratchy. I would not recommend this place based on how expensive it is compared to other hotels in the area that are better quality for only a few dollars more. I will still add again that the staff was nice and breakfast was good.

We will definitely come back to this beautiful place with a marvelous view!!! The receptionists, housekeepers and breakfast staff, everyone was nice, friendly and professional. Outside you could walk on the boardwalk to nice restaurants or just enjoy a nice walk after lunch/dinner.. Do not hesitate, book with this hotel!!!

What was unique about the property is the location of it. I didn’t like how it sits away from the street. You have to drive by other businesses and all the way to the end of the parking lot to get there.

Staff and establishment were wonderful! Our room was extremely clean and we had a wonderful view of the river. The start of the Riverwalk is right behind the property and makes for an easy walk to the rest of downtown Wilmington. Convention center is located on the same block, for anyone visiting the Convention center looking for somewhere to stay. 10/10 for sure!

Great for a few nights
Great stay overall. Very comfortable beds, clean linen, and friendly staff. Always available and helpful. The breakfast was okay, hot food wasn’t the best, but the other items were good. Coffee was okay. The biggest negative was the lack of hot water. The rain shower was a nice touch, but the hot water in the shower lasted about 3 minutes and then was just barely warm. Overall, happy with the stay and got what I payed for in an older hotel.

Had problems with the shower, which they did fix the first day of a five day stay. No dresser in room, small closet, could not figure out how to run the tv at all. Was overcharged for parking when I left. Overall 3 stars.
