« The cabin was comfortable and welcoming. Very clean and functional. Beds were comfortables. We cooked all our meals,.the kitchen was well equipped. Bring water because the water is coming from a well ( hosts provided bottled water at arrival. We loved the view on the pound from the cabin. Easy access to a small beach where the kids could play in the sand. We went hiking about 20-30 minutes from the cabin. Well situated. Loved the decoration! On a rainy morning we tried to count all the bears!...

Close to fantastic hiking and solid options for eating out, and a quick drive to Lake Placid if you want a bit more variety or to do some shopping. This was the cleanest rental house I’ve ever encountered, and I’ve rented a lot over the years. The house was well-stocked and had everything we needed. The owners were thorough and responsive. Would love to return in the future! »
