„We had such a lovely time at Acorn cottage, it was absolutely perfect in every way. Communication with Maria throughout super easy and the cottage is stunning, probably one of the most well thought out, well stocked getaways we've stayed at. We did plenty of local walks straight from the cottage and had a few stop offs on the way home in the local pub. We also visited on a pretty wintery weekend so it made the forest and the pub that little bit more festive. We would definitely return.“

„Wow! what a fabulous modern and contemporary home overlooking Hamble Marina, with the village shops just a 5 minute walk away. We stayed here with friends celebrating my 60th birthday and it was such an easy and relaxed place to socialise with a fantastic kitchen, living room and large jacuzzi. All bedrooms are very comfortable, light and roomy, each with their own en suite which was great. Great, secure garden and a perfect location, 5 minutes walk from Burley village where you’ll find a lovely village store, pubs, gift shops and cafes. Great for forest walks. „Kein direkter Kontakt zu den Gastgebern, die Handtücher für die Gäste werden mit den völlig verdreckten Handtüchern für den Hund der Eigentümer gewaschen, in unserem Bad hing ein auf dem "Molly" (so heißt der Hund) stand!! Überall lag eine Staubschicht, die Räume sind sehr dunkel, die Fenster wurden schon sehr lange nicht mehr geputzt. Es hieß, es gebe im Restaurant gegenüber einen Rabatt; leider weiß der Restaurantbetreiber nichts davon. Der Kühlschrank war mit leckeren Sachen fürs Frühstück ...

„Die Ferienwohnung in der umgebauten Scheune ist nicht sehr groß, besitzt aber alle Annehmlichkeiten. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, die gesamte Inneneinrichtung sehr geschmackvoll gewählt.In direkter Umgebung des Hauses nur die alte Kirche und das Herrenhaus. Daher nachts auch sehr ruhig. In Twyford ist man innerhalb von 10 min. zu Fuß und kann dort im Bugle Inn hervorragende Küche zu moderaten Preisen genießen.
