„Enjoyed our couple of days here, was a great base for visiting nearby family. Quiet and remote but within a 5 minute drive of facilities. Cabin very comfortable and well equipped, spacious bedroom with large en-suite shower room and with added bonus of comfy double futon in lounge. Owner very responsive to queries and advised us en-route of temporary road closure which was helpful. Beautiful setting at edge of wood, which we enjoyed a stroll through. „We enjoyed our stay. The hut is well equipped and had the weather been warmer we could have benifitted from the outside space. We felt they needed to think about slightly better storage and the couch/ bunk beds were probably six inches too high for comfort. The fold away table was also poor although it served a purpose. The hut had a slightly tired feel and would benefit from some upgrading - television for example.“

„We had a wonderful Christmas in the charming Shepherds hut whilst visiting family near by. We brought our slow cooker with us and managed to make make a Christmas dinner in the well equipped kitchen. Toasting marshmallows on Christmas Eve was a highlight!“

Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, die gesamte Inneneinrichtung sehr geschmackvoll gewählt.In direkter Umgebung des Hauses nur die alte Kirche und das Herrenhaus. Daher nachts auch sehr ruhig. In Twyford ist man innerhalb von 10 min. zu Fuß und kann dort im Bugle Inn hervorragende Küche zu moderaten Preisen genießen.
