« Very old property with an antique charm. Our bedroom was very well taken care of. Our only complaint would be the bathroom being a little narrow and damp. But these are things that must be traded off for when considering the age of the building. Its proximity to the Yorkminster made it very nice and easy. The food and drink as well as food service was very good. Servers and bartender were knowledgeable about the drinks and gave us good advice when it was needed. »

« The staff were so friendly and keen to make everything perfect. The room was great. The food was excellent. I had really great dinners and breakfast was delicious start to day. The locals clearly loved the Royal Oak which was another good sign! Such a great stay and only good things to say about it! »

Le personnel est avenant et il est possible pour des raisons environnementales de ne pas faire changer les serviettes tous les jours et c’est la premiĂšre fois que je vois une poubelle de tri dans une chambre d’hĂŽtel."
