The Space:

Enjoy a comfortable stay in a convenient York location, within easy walking distance of the historic city centre. The property provides a welcoming base for couples, families or friends who want to explore York while staying just outside its busiest streets.



The house has four bedrooms arranged over three floors.



On the ground floor, the front living room has a sofa and TV, leading through to the dining room and kitchen. At the end of the kitchen is a bathroom with a double shower and bath. There is also a separate toilet under the stairs.



The first floor has three bedrooms and another bathroom, while the fourth bedroom is in the attic.



Hotel-quality bed linen and towels are provided for all guests.



Local shops are available just across the road, making it easy to pick up everyday essentials during your stay. From the property, it is approximately a 15-minute walk into the city centre. Follow Bootham towards the magnificent York Minster and you will arrive right in the heart of the city, with its independent shops, restaurants, cafés and historic attractions all close at hand.

The property is situated in a residential area just north of York city centre. The neighbourhood is well placed for enjoying the city while offering a convenient place to return to after a busy day of sightseeing.



There are several useful local shops nearby, including shops directly across the road. Bootham is only a short walk away and provides a pleasant, direct route towards York Minster and the historic centre.



York’s best-known sights—including York Minster, the city walls, the Shambles and the many attractions, restaurants and bars of the city centre—can be reached easily on foot.



Getting Around:

Walking is one of the easiest ways to explore York from the property. The city centre is approximately a 15-minute walk away. Simply walk down Bootham towards York Minster to reach the heart of the historic city.



Local bus services are also available nearby for guests who prefer not to walk or who wish to explore farther afield.
