« Lovely spacious room, decent price, quick responses to all my enquiries and parking for 48 hours at £3 is a bonus!! Only downfall was the shower was a bit dirty and dusty, other than that it's a great place to stay, close to the sea front and town centre! Would stay again! :) »

« What a traveler needs more than anything is a clean accommodations, good shower, a super bed and a solid location.Loved all 4. A short walk to anywhere and BTW, the 199 steps to the top of the town were no big deal. Whitby is awesome! »

« Arrival was easy, nobody manning reception but was not a problem, key left on the side clearly labelled and clear instructions etc. Room clean and well presented, good amenities, including tea, coffee, fresh milk etc. Room not perfectly blackout with some streetlight coming in round the side of the curtains, and a faint green light from the fire exit sign, not something that bothers me as I sleep with my eyes closed, but some day dreamers might want a blindfold. Bed was clean, very comfortable...

« Lovely room in an excellent location, very near town centre and a beautiful park across the street. Room was comfortable and well maintained. The owners were helpful and communicated very well. Parking was nearby and free Whitby never disappoints and we would stay at Broomfield house again. »

« Sadly, this was a bad experience. I booked via Expedia where the hotel was advertising a Michelin trained chef and a restaurant. I travelled solo 145 miles for a two night break purely because of this. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn the restaurant closed last year. I expressed this disappointment in very civil tones, explaining this was the only reason for my visit. I asked the owner Stacie if I could therefore cancel my second night and obtain a partial refund for it. Stacie agreed...
